Glad to see someone picked him up after VVV took a giant crap on their fighting game division.

You can get a sponsorship for being good in a irrelevant game like MK?

@ 1:

Their site is under construction: http://dominionmethodgaming.com/

But some names that frequent tournaments are: BurnYourBra, Juicebox, OnlineTony, Hyena, Lionheart, and iPeru. Jasonc24f also goes to tournaments, but is majorly responsible for behind the scenes stuff like recruiting these great players.

Keep in mind that a lot of the keynote teams that exist in the mainstream games (such as AG, DMG, etc.) primarily have product based sponsorships with companies. This means players get sponsorship representation through the team name as well as products given to them by companies, in this case Madcatz.

With this in mind, its very uncommon for an entire team to get player based sponsorships, which are salary or rate based, that allow the player to travel to various events relative to their game of choice. I, as well as all of us, don't know what kind of sponsorship this is but joining a team as promising as DMG is a step in the right direction for all parties involved.

Before people use the "Well what about EG" argument, keep in mind that EG has a lot of sponsorships from big name companies that go beyond product based, such as Intel, Beyond Gaming etc. This allows them to have the money to pay their players to play the games they game. I want to stress that salary/rate based sponsorships are VERY uncommon and when I mean uncommon, not even high level players like Chris G, who are clearly eligible, have FULL traditional salary based, sponsorships. More often than not, sponsorships are product, partial salary or none at all outside of the name.
