PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale release date delayed, now available November 20th The release date for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is being delayed by about a month, Park Chan of SuperBot Entertainment said today, via the PlayStation Blog. Originally scheduled for a October 23, 2012, the team confirmed the change, and cited that they wanted to polish and tune the game a bit more before they put it out there for fans.

Hello PlayStation Nation. As you know, we at SuperBot have set high benchmarks for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. Our goal is to deliver a fun, well-balanced, and compelling gameplay experience that pays homage to all of these incredible characters.

We also know our fans have high expectations for this title, and to that end, we have decided to move the release date to November 20th, 2012 for North America (including Canada) and Latin America territories. This will let us spend more time polishing and tuning the game, and it will give us a chance to incorporate some of the great feedback we’re receiving from the current limited beta to ensure we are creating the best possible fighting game experience. While it is our greatest desire to put this game into the hands of our fans as soon as possible, we do not want to do so at the sake of quality. The additional time will be well worth the wait, and are excited to know that our fans will have the ultimate brawler in time for the holiday.

Keep an eye on next week’s GamesCom, as we’ve lined up some big announcements that we’re sure you’ll be excited about.

Thanks again for all of your support and understanding!

Tip from Forzaitalia, RedWaltz79, Poppin and Louiezer0.

Wasn't planning on buying it anyway, but maybe this is their chance to add something to the game so that its not just a button masher, and then you do supers game.

ultimate brawler... LOL... I guess it takes time to balance a button-masher FG.

Good, now they can fix all the bugs before release so it doesn't get the SF X T disease.

I see no reason for them to postpone the game. What kind of expectations would a fan have for this game other than character selection?

This is good take that time n polish the game, completely down with the " no rush game policy ". Just wish more companies would practice these policy more often.

i'm always happy to see a developer take their time to make a game better. this usually means they actually care about their product and are not just meeting a deadline. good for them.

Nice move. Now it's close to Black Friday, and they have more time to improve the game either on the netcode or even add more characters or stages.

Good, looked like it needed tons of work.
Could've even pushed it back more closer to Xmas.
Rather have them work on it longer for a possible better game.

I'm excited for the game, but I would rather wait for the game to be polished as much as possible.

Diablo 3 and SFxT have shown us that delays would be worth it in some cases, hopefully this means a few more character additions

Ah man I was really hoping for this game to be released in October. In September I'm gonna be concentrating mainly on TTT2, in November its going to be blops2, I got nothing for October now :\
This game was going to be released on my birthday as well so that sucks.

@4 Who says people won't buy two games in one month? Its not even direct competition. If your making a shooter, then i'd be worried.

Most die hard COD fans don't play anything else but COD year round so the appeal is lost to them anyways.
