I think it's funny that he mentions that Gon was not popular. I always hated that little dino, but I still thought he should have been in the game. I think it's interesting that they already have so many characters, but don't just bring back everyone from the series for TTT2. Tag always seemed like the non cannon fighter of the series. I could be wrong.

GOOD. No stupid@ss characters please. Go play umvc(Phoenix Wright) & sfxt(Megaman/Pacman). This is great news. Tekken Tag 2 is shaping up to possibly be the most successful fighting game this year. I have no complaints for it atm.

Glad that Harada put the "bring back XXX" spammers on notice as far as character usage. There'd better be an endless sea of Kunis online and in tournaments, the way people wouldn't shut up about her. Not holding my breath, though.

I'm glad Gon isn't in the game, he would've been a waste of a slot. I'm happy with the current roster if it's still not final. Can't imagine who they'd add at this point; I've seen all the fan favorites already.

I'm not upset about Gon not being in it. I believe just for sake of the game not being canon that he should have been in but hey! I'm not complaining at all. As for outside characters, I'd say no. Make a Namco Vs. game and just put Goku and whoever else in there. Leave Tekken alone.

Kuni was technically a "bad" character...i never saw what was so special about her anyway. she does look OK in TTT2 tho...As for Gon, he's in...Harada is trolling.

If Harada and his team make Kunimitsu crappy again, yeah you can bet only her true fans will use her, and even they may drop her eventually if she's bad enough. If she sucks, you won't be seeing her online much except for by those fans because 80% of people tier whore.

With the huge cast, the numbers of people using certain characters will be very spread out anyways. It'll be obvious who is the best because their usage numbers will stand out significantly.

Kuni is looking good though, I can't see her being bad enough to the point where we won't see plenty people using her. Maybe Harada even purposely made her much better in TTT2 just to test her popularity rather than her viability.

as for tekken future there will always be a future you have to make tekken 7,8,9 and follow up with tekken tag 3

Not really looking forward to this game anymore. Not because of the lack of gon, but because P4A has taken all of my interest away, and I suck at tekken anyways, no point in spending 64 bucks to lose constantly. UMC3, P4A, and possibly DOA5 will take all my fg time :D

@27 tekken has to be one of the most simplest games just look at the command list and find the most affective move thats how I became so good at it

@28 Tekken is IN NO WAY a simple game, are you kidding me? Hell, even MOVEMENT in tekken is hard to master. Maybe for beginner play your strategy might be successful, but against a decent player you will lose greatly. Trust me, I am somewhat decent at this game, I can do juggle combos & can do the movement a little, but I always get blown up by better players, which is why I say I suck.

you must be talking about them ones that are tekken lord and other high ranked players sucks pretty bad. I actually found two people that ill give em a fight at least devil jin and law.

Have you noticed his excuse for discluding has changed also? it is now about requests however was about ownership before, Namco Bandai also made the game Gone: baku baku baku baku so Harada could have easily gained access to gon for TTT2, So DON'T RULE HIM OUT YET.

@Ogrelicious. actually he might be telling the truth... the reason kunimitsu was taking off the roster and wasn't in T3-T6 cause he thought nobody didn't like her (boy was he wrong), so he finally heard the fans complaints and now he brought her back. i hope she make it in T7 with a new story because she didn't die and Harada just took her out by bad judgement.

True, i really liked her, although even i have to admit she was borderline useless in the older games. (but i still sticked to her and Yoshimitsu)

@xShonuffx The main reason I don't want gon back is because of his small size, not because he's a "joke" character. For me, as a longstanding player of fighting games, I hate, with a passion, characters who don't really follow normal character size/the average overall cast size. I wouldn't mind gon being in if he's all grown up like roger/alex. I'll be honest and say I was a little skeptical of them having True ogre in there, but its to early to judge because I haven't played the game yet.

i said this once, i'll say it twice. I really feel like Ryu and Ken(or) Chun Li will be in TTT2 As Guest Characters......

he seems to be making the proper choices thus far (minus the solo character mode).
forcing a 2nd character opens opportunities to new characters and increases the love of the game. to be honest it doesn't even stifle the game because there are always another character that plays similarily.

Very much looking forward to Tekken Tag Tournament 2! Also, the teases he gives for Tekken X Street Fighter might put us off track, thinking it'll not look like a Tekken game.

But I'm confident that Harada-san and his team can make Tekken X Street Fighter a masterpiece! I just hope to see my Juri and Sakura in the Tekken-engine...
