Dbfetable uploaded a replay of a Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown match that showcases some interesting characteristics. Displayed on screen as the fight rages on is frame data, damage info and properties for every attack thrown.

This is a very interesting dynamic pertaining to fighting games. Being able to view frame data and damage properties of each move during a replay could prove extremely beneficial to players everywhere.

Which current fighting games would you like to see this feature implemented? Leave your comments below.

Now that's some replay analysis. I seriously can't wait to download this game.
Then not play it for about a week, because I'll still be customizing my fighters :P

This is the real replay analyzer. Hope TTT2 have some stuff like this.

I remember seeing these on YouTube videos. These were seen on R as well and they are very helpful.

This is VERY useful. Wish all fighters had something like this.

In comparison to SFxT replay analyzer, VF is far superior. No hating, just saying Capcom needs to try a tad bit harder is all.

I would LOVE some frame data from UMVC without, you know, having to buy that stupid a$s 'bible'

Also nice to hear Aris is still alive and wasn't torn to pieces by raging moralf@gs.

Keep supporting sexual harassers. Amuurica needs 'em (Y)

T'is a pretty detailed reply analyser. Nice to see it gives you information about damage and were combos/potential mix-ups hit.

Hype Meter in SFxT? XD
Sega knows what a real replay analyser is, stay free Capcom.

Just gonna make a post for those who are curious about what will be in the game. (SPOILER!): VF4: Evolution-styled training mode will be in the game.

@10, yeah, except for the part where it took Sega 4 revisions of a 6 year old game, its like the same comparison!

@#14 Sage_Liebert:
I'm not sure if you're trolling, but are you talking about a developer standpoint or publisher point¿
Seeing as Bayonetta, Max Anarchy, End of Eternity, Sonic Generations are recent Sega games that don't suck, your statement seems off-target, seeing as those game were published and partly developed by Sega.

I would not expect anything less from Virtua Fighter. They hardly ever make the same mistakes as other companies continue to do over and over again.

Why don't more people play this game again?

err no Bayonetta and Anarchy reigns are NOT sega games. Those were made by platinum games, sega just published them.

@18 :
1) to technical a game,
2) no invincible dragon :) ,
3) takes forever to learn a character,
4) takes even more forever to learn the match ups ,
5) thus less people playing

(i stopped a bit because of 3, 4 and 5, but i was a bit noob in Fighting games then, i didn't even know how to use frame data. Thx to SF4, which is a good title to learn the basics, i think i'm ready for the next VF5)

So basically most people prefer to play the game that they complain as being too noob friendly instead of playing the game that is noob unfriendly? Sounds like there is a lot of frauds.
