As a VF player, I thank you Nyoro for showing Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown some love.

Pai is in Dead or Alive 5. I really want to see how DoA 5 will really be DoA 5 vs. VF5:FS

It's good that he's giving props to EVO 2011.

Winning EVO 2011 = fame! It's bigger than Tougeki anyday (in terms of fame all over the world).

America lives and breaths celebrity, Fuudo is just starting to figure it out.

I know Akira, Pai, and Sarah can make a transition well in DOA5. After all, the Japanese Saturn vers. of DOA1 used the VF2 engine.

Another thing: The VF community are a nicer community than the Street Fighter and Tekken community.

I get subtitles, I get "voice over", but I don't get why you'd "dub" someone in an interview. just sounds awkward.

Would rather have subs. The guy they got do dub was atrociously bad.

They dub it because Americans are known to dislike reading subtitles.

There were much outcries over the airing of "Crouching Tige, Hidden Dragons", because Americans were forced to read subtitles for a movie in a movie theater.

Theres also a chibita interview http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ccXvzZ...
And also pre-launch party exhibition match between them (Fuudo and Chibita), with a chance to challenge them with Alex Valle as a host http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=...

Americans have issues reading subs because many of them don't like to read and others can't read. However, in this case, I would have much preferred subtitles since hearing the dub was distracting. As for VF5S, I will be getting this one definitely.

Love this game. I'm pretty upset that they didn't bring it out sooner, but I still love this game.

The first DoA ran on the same Sega AM2 hardware used for VF2. Only difference was the Guard button got changed to Hold, but DoA1 and VF2 played very similarly to each other.

VF FTW. VF4 was actually my first one and by luck i got VF4:EVO. I only played Jacky Bryant and never felt any of the other characters.
