Updated: Guilty Gear XX Accent Core Plus coming to Playstation Network and Xbox Live Arcade this Summer, online menu images

Updated: AndiaSang has posted some additional images including some of the online menus.

Siliconera released an article recently stating that Arc System Works will be releasing the arcade version of Guilty Gear XX Accent Core on the Playstation Network and Xbox Live Arcade this Summer.

The game's online mode will come equipped with both ranked matches and player matches.

No details on the exact release date have been revealed but we can expect to get our hands on this game later this year.

Also coming out simultaneously with GG XX A Core, Ebten [Famitsu's e-Shop] will be releasing a GG PS3 fightstick made with Sanwa parts.
The regular edition will priced at ¥13,980, while the Special Edition comes with an A3-sized poster and priced at ¥15,540. I don't know if the U.S will be having any deals like this.

We were informed that an arcade port of the game would be coming to PSN and XBL but it wasn't known when. The most important part of this story is that game will be out this Summer.

I played both and I consider them as different as KOF13 and SSF4

If this game's netcode is as good or better than Blazblue then count me in because it is a classic fight. That's fantastic news this game has an online mode because this mode online will revive the GG community and the franchise.

That Dizzy girl looks just as ridiculous and anime as the Blazblue characters and Johnny is just another guy in a coat/trench coat. Sol Badguy, Milla, Zappa? What the hell are these people wearing?

If the market wasn't so oversaturated I'd say "Can't wait!", but man is it ever oversaturated. I mean, yeah, I'm going to buy it for sure, but...too much of a good thing. In a way I envy you people who blindly hate fighters you've never given a fair chance. I only do that with Mortal Kombat, because lol, I played enough of that in grade school.

That just isnt true, most MvC2 players hate on MvC3 because its an inferior game, and most non MvC2 players that like MvC3 say that MvC2 players who dont like it just suck at it because they could never play MVC2, because they can't play real games.....and they dont want to recognize the relatively apparent short comings of MvC3.

MvC3 is free, and the vast majority of people who play it are free at it.

In all seriousness though as a MvC2 player I just dont like the system mechanics of MvC3 much, but MvC3 really isnt hard to be decent in at all if you play MvC2....so I dont see why you would assume MvC2 players suck at it

Has anyone of you tried the PS3 version of Arcana Heart 3? Because if it's true that this game will be released via Digital Download I will not waste 30-30 GBs space in my hard drive if Arcsys' arcade-to-console videogame adaptations are not worth it.

Hopefully this sells well enough for that brand new GG can be made & released. Hopefully that game has the same wonderful elements from Accent Core, but with the all of the great HD visuals of BlazBlue. If BlazBlue did anything right, it was graphics. BBCSX's backgrounds, UI, etc. is all soooo much better than GGXXAC's which haven't aged very well (some stages I still like though). The thing I liked about the latest BB HUD and everything is they somewhat scaled back the MASSIVE health bar & stuff at the top of the screen, it helped a lot. Hopefully they can combine the GG gameplay & music with the BB graphics & UI. Looks lik eth HD resolution allows for the HUD in this release to be smaller too.

And hey throw in some of the BB characters like Hazama, Arakune, Tsubaki, and all the characters that were DLC(the best from the series by far IMO).
