You do know it had Namco with them, so yes there will be DLC milking. Namco is way ahead in that regard, Capcom's just trying to catch up to them.

Judging by the possible roster I'm going to take a guess and say that not only is it not a fighting game but it's not going to get a US release. It'd be for the best if everyone kept their expectations as low as possible.

keep in mind it says nintendo 3ds. It could still be anything, but yeah don't go nuts over this just yet.

@Tsevin It's got Frank West in it Capcom believe the West loves him if TvC is anything to go by he was added because they think he adds appeal to Western customers so with him being there this has a good chance of being released in the US.

Funny to see characters designed by Kosuke Fujishima coming from two different sides. Also, I'm surprised Shinobi hasn't been guessed for that blank spot.

Their are so many possible projects fans would love to see. I was almost intrigued until I saw Sega instead of SNK.

On a side note, I also think SFxT is really fun. But unlike everyone else I also have fun watching people play it at tournaments. It feels like I'm doing some recon:)

Probably a strategy game similar to Namco X Capcom. It makes sense, since this is probably a 3DS game and strategy games are popular on that format.

@16 He's not exclusively popular in the west though, I'm pretty sure he's a really popular character in Japan as well.

It's not a good idea to look at just one or two characters, look at the entire roster. It screams "this is a Japanese game for Japanese people who like Japanese things". So many SUPA KAWAII Anime girls, generic androgynous male characters with swords and crazy haircuts, and other characters from obscure games that the average western gamer has never heard of.

I only recognise Leanne and "Random Valkyria Chronicles Guy" for the Sega characters. I really hope they have enough sense to use some more notable characters and not just this generic anime trash.

Its a 3ds game, hence nintendo's involvement. And if it is a fighter, its just some goofy Smash Bros type stuff.

I... have no idea what the game is all about... I mean, take a look at the roster: it's feeling random to the extreme, although kudos if X and Zero are in.

BTW, I'm guessing that Joe Musashi is the missing Sega character, because the colors remind me of a ninja.

I was so hype when i saw Yuri from Tales of Vesperia in there, i hope this is some sort of new fighting game

the line up they chose for namco is very meh. SC!

first off you people haven't done any research, this game has had a site since mid march, it's not a late April Fools, second off its being produced by Ban Presto, a subsidiary of Bandai Namco who handles games like the Super Robot Wars series, Great Battle, and games mainly focused on crossovers that Bandai usually has to handle. So if anything, it'll be some sort of RPG or side scrolling beat em' up with flashy attacks since Banpresto does animations quite well. Banpresto also does a pretty decent job at their crossover stories, despite none of their games barely ever making it to America. If it is a sort of RPG it'll probably play like Fire Emblem in the sense you move your characters around a map which is the way SRW takes things. I'm also quite excited to see one of the Bandai Namco characters to possibly be Sanger Zombolt, who was in some of the Super Robot Wars games. I'm hoping it's quite an expansive roster if it plays like SRW, knowing Banpresto we can expect to see potentially 40+ series like they did with SRWZ2 on the PSP. I'm personally stoked at the possibility of Dr. Eggman and Dr. Wily making a Robot Master and Badnik army and teaming up. As well as the idea of there being SRW characters, since Sanger is one of the assumed characters.

Betting on a Turn Based Strategy game akin to the SRW series and Namco X Capcom. Banpresto is involved so I'm definitely betting on a strategy game.

Who are the Namco people between Yuri from Vesperia and that dot Hack chick? I am even more lost on half the SEGA characters too hah. And yeah, this is definitely going to be an RPG of some kind. If it lives up the characters in it (especially the Valkyria Chronicles and Sakura Wars duders) then I won't have a problem.

Always wanted a streets of rage x final fight side scrolling beat'em up game with SFIII animation and sprites lol. All the heroes from both series' come together to clean up the streets!

It's a Hybrid pack that has the new .Hack movie [Sekai no Mukou ni] as well as .Hack Versus, which is the .Hack fighting game. It's a PS3 exclusive so hope you have a PS3 to play it.
Unlike the Tekken Hybrid disc, .Versus has online multiplayer.

It was already announced a long time ago that this is a 3DS game... so don't get your hopes up too much.

I predict that the first chromosome on the SEGA side (far left) looks like Bayonetta.
