*sigh* i was too was looking forward to a new Darkstalkers game(more so than others). however seeing how sf x tk went(i.e pointless gimmicks,dlc,glitches,ect)capcom doesnt seem to have its priorites in order. i get depress thinking about it.

shows 4 characters as DlC. then they will show off alts that are already in the works.

Hopefully they reveal they are talking with SNK about the possibility of CvS3 with KoF-like sprites.

So jaded. I've never complained about extra content. Some of us understand that gaming is a luxury, not a necessity.

Capcom gives a dam if Ono is sick... Slave traders, no seriously though kinda messed up. Anyway Capcom vs Snk 3 strictly a hardcore game though would be sweet if they did it like SFXT, TXSF where each franchise has control of the others roster. I always liked rival schools and project justice it was very unique and fun with grey character designs.

This has already been done with Capcom/SNK-Playmore. While Capcom's versions were both great games, SNK's (SvC Chaos) was complete garbage! Even still, Since Capcomm has sold out and went all "flashy 3-D", and abandoned 2D sprite work, Maybe it would be cool to see CvS3 SFIV style animation, and a SvC in KOFXIII style.

Wouldn't mind seeing Darkstalkers 4 or SFV. But if these future games are gonna come out anything like SFxT, I say pass the torch to someone else other than Ono-san.

Lets hope they learned from SFxT. But I fear its too soon maybe in a year or two.

Your probably right though caps will more than likely be 3-D but if it's done right I'm down and snk I believe would make theirs epic after their last failure.

I hope they have the good sense to put Niitsuma team on DS4 and let Ono-squad support SFxT.

I can't wait to see something about SFV one day... SFIV was by far the best fighting game of this generation. The proof of that is that even after this years, there's no hype like SFIV. This was proved at the latest EVO.

Yes SFIV is unsurpassed in the the amount of hype it brought and how long its legs have carried it. But you have to remember (I'm faoming at the mouth for a SFV) they have to do something comepletely new each iteration. That takes years to develop and is why SF has such a good name:

SF1 - Special Motion Moves
SF2 - Player vs Player, Super Moves
SF3 - Universal Overhead, Parrying and EX Moves
SF4 - Focus Attacks, FADC, Emphasis on Link Combos

Each iteration brought something that either made it THE new thing to copy or made it a professional all time favorite years after it released. WHile other franchise always make new things many times those thigns come off as gimmicks (X-factor, magic series, teams, different ratios per team member, etc.)

Street Fighter makes systems people love and want to see return. And most of all, COPY!

I think you are dumbing it down a bit. What it comes down to is feel. Every SF game has had a different feel, and they need to get it right so that SF5 feels different, fresh, unique, but still SF.

oh, and EX moves were not introduced in SF3, but SFEX, hence the title

I don't know why it's called Street Fighter EX, but that's not why. Darkstalkers had EX moves before SFEX was even created.

If SFxT is what the future of the Capcom games are going to be like no thank you please.

it will be some game that everyone wants but they will make it newb friendly with a comeback gimmick and a ton of DLC

I'm guessing these maybe set for the future concerning many of the producer's hints or desires:
Niitsuma maybe working on a triple or quadruple crossover (he said he wanted to have more than just two.) There was also mention of a crossover within Capcom characters.

MvC 4 is possible or they just might expand UMvC 3 with more characters and skipping MvC 4 to do a triple crossover.

Marvel Super Heroes 2 was taken with a positive outlook by Niitsuma when fans asked, so that could also be Niitsuma's next project.

Darkstalkers is a given, and so is Project Justice. There was a comment on Capcom Unity stating that Darkstalkers would come out before Project Justice or even Powerstone, but no confirmations.
Street Fighter 5 is definitely going to happen, but this one maybe the last that Ono would do.
I think both Ono and Niitsuma mentioned they both want a Marvel vs DC which would be VERY hard to do thanks to DC and Marvel's stupid pride and the expense for the license lol.

Darkstalkers 4, new Project Justice, Marvel Super Heroes 2, Multi-Crossovers,MvC4 or an extension for UMvC3,Marvel vs DC,Capcom vs Snk 2 (Online), CvS3, Powerstone, MK vs ST,Capcom Evolution 2 and Street Fighter 5 sounds like what maybe in store for the future.
I want anything Marvel related or even DC (even UMvC3X), Triple crossover, CvS3,Capcom Evolution 2, and Powerstone

I really don't care for Darkstalkers especially if it looks like Street Fighter again like SFxT. They have to make it REALLY interesting for me to buy that.

Gonna be real gay if their "future" doesn't concern Darkstalkers.

As much as I want to see SFV at some point it would be too early for me to get excited about it. Darkstalkers would be awesome especially because I have to admit that I never played any of them. I'd also take a couple of new characters for UMvC3 but I think their license has expired so there won't be anyhting new.

Whatever it is I still have a dream about Capcom releasing a fully fleshed-out Mega Man: Power Battle style game. Think MvC containing a huge list of characters from the Mega Man Universe. Doesn't even need to be a top level professional fighting game, just a quick distraction for XBLA/PSN.

Yeah, no reason to do SFV yet, SFIV is still got a long lifetime before there's any need to replace it. Seth already said we wouldn't see SFV for a long while anyway.

I hope it's Darkstalkers 4 or a new IP. If only they could make a 2d game based on fighters from around the world using real fighting styles in a serious matter (no fireballs, etc.)

We need fighting game characters who know Aikido, Judo, Silat, Krav Maga, Mallayuddha, Naban, Savat, etc. etc. So sick of Pro Wrestling, Luchadora, Karate, Kung Fu.. etc. etc.

After the debacle that was SFxT.. I'm getting so sick of Capcom. I'm about to ride the VF5FS train once summer hits and I don't know if I'm ever coming back.

Maybe we'll get DarkStalkers 4 or new Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 DLC. You never know -_-

@56 that would be nice.tho so far the only characters that use the styles list above Goro Daimon=judo Remy=uses savate lol gesse howard=some form of aiki but if you want to see a fighting game with some mma thats abit off the wall but somewhat realistic look up garouden breakblow. If you are familiar with baki the grappler,the game is actualy based on the manga by the same creator. P.S i wanna see some sambo in my 2d fighters!

On a side note:besides blue mary who uses sambo,but i do like playing with her. As for capcom i think they just need to bring back older games in hd maybe,i dont want to see a cvs3 yet cvs2 would be just fine for the market place,along with jojo bizarre adventure (to me that game was,fun as hell) if they ever get permission to release these again.
