Why would you assume Yun DOESN'T have good footsies? I mean not to jump on the Yun hate bandwagon but the character really only has 1 weak spot and that is his wakeup options are limited (but still better than a large percentage of the cast.)
His walk speed is pretty fast (def faster than Ken) allot of his normals have very fast startup, good range, and can be hit confirmed into damaging combos. He isn't THE BEST footsies character but part of that is due to the fact he doesn't need to play footsies at all since he can just neutral jump threaten to dive kick and his moves are fast enough that he can do massive block strings/frame traps.
He is easily in the top 10 characters for the footsies game. He isn't as good as Chun or Fei but he is def better than chars like Makoto (despite her amazing s.MP and c.MP her walk speed is too slow for true footsie games.) or Seth or Honda.

Ok. Really not sure about Top10 footsies though. Anyway for what it means... Let's just say Daigo's footsies with Yun are pretty alright. Espetially the use of that slow ass s.rh. Here, that's better.

no. no he is not. but you can probably say hes the best in america. as of now atleast. but japan has iori who in my opinion is better and taiwan has Gipie.
iperu is still good though.
In no particular order the best footsie characters (imo)
Chun, Blanka, Fei, Akuma, Fei, Ryu, Guile, Yun, Yang, Gen
There are characters with better normals (Boxer, Vega, Cody, ect.) but these characters tend to have one or two things holding them back (slower walk speed, being a charge based character, long range footsies don't link into combos easily.)
This is of course a subjective opinion but even at the very worst, you cannot claim Yun/Yang are not average-above average level in the footsies games.

Are you serious??? Yun is top 10 footsies? You're wrong there buddy. Yun is no where near top 10 in terms of footsies. Yun is more like somewhere in the bottom 10 footies.
And you're list of top 10 footsies is also wrong. The top 10 footsie characters are these, in no particulat order:
Ken
Chun-Li
Cammy
Guile
Fei Long
Yang
Akuma
Rose
Blanka
Gen
In addition to the top 10 list that I just stated, there are some more characters who have better footsies that Yun:
Dictator
Boxer
Claw
Sagat
Ryu
Seth
Dee Jay
With those things stated. It's safe to say that Yun is definately not top 10 when it comes to footsies.

One more thing. There's no way that Yun's footsies are better than the footsies of Cammy, Ken, and Rose.
I'm surprised that you left those three out of your list. Cammy, Ken, and Rose all have much better footsies than Yun.
Yuns footsies ARE better than Kens. Ken is above average in the footsies but only barely thanks to his slower than average walk speed, less knockdowns, and less safe sweep. Roses footsies are good but not great outside of one or two very good moves. Problem is that her footsies are only good for footsies. They don't really let her combo because the ones you would use for footsies aren't special cancelable or linkable.
Cammy has good foorsies, I had forgotten about her. I'd say she is about equal to Yun. Her range is a little better, but her moves are less safe on block for the most part. Her damage potential isn't as high either with footsies(normals deal less and her combos aren't quite as damaging off of a hitconfirm.
i really hate watching yun.. so cheap, easy damaging bnb, combo to ultra easily.. so cheap

Ken has the step kick, karas etc. Ken also has lots of knockdown set ups with untechables from far jab and on counter hits and also kara throws. Saying Ken has a more unsafe sweep is invalid because its only unsafe if used incorrectly which can be said also for Akuma who has one of the best sweeps.
How are Rose's footsies worse than Yun's? She has a normal for nearly every situation and a great slide. Her crouching strong is also really good and from some ranges it cannot combo from normal spiral but from ex it'll work. Her soul piede has excellent range, she has a good sweep an awesome crouching strong so I'm pretty sure she has good footsies which are better than yun's. Rose can combo off cr strong and slide so that's already more enough to say she can combo off them since they are some of her main footsie tools.
Yun bypasses footsies anyway so whatever, the real problem with Yun is you can't even block because of the command grab, he gets in too easily and when he gets in, even at the highest levels of play your best chance is to mash like a spastic....ridiculous herp derp character, horrible to watch, horrible to play against !!!

Yes Sagat does have better footsies than Yun. Just look at this video and see how much more range Sagat has on his footsies than Yun does.
Yun has top 10 footsie? what kind of drug you using? because I really want some, to add to the already mentioned characters, juri, adon, Cody (for his cr.mk alone) have better footsie game.
