Heads up from GoukiRocha, Rafael2487, neoWhite, Ken123103 and Brazilanubis3.
Angry Joe's one video of unintelligible ranting about UMVC3 or Max's 5 or 6 well spoken, thorough and detailed video's about all the vast changes in the game. Hmmmm which one to listen to.
Did anyone else see how much health that one poison arrow drained at the end? That's awesome.
#10 Not that I know of. I know he can't regenerate red life when in Denjin Mode as a assist, or even X-factor. And I have a feeling that while Hawkeye will be good, people will still be riding Dante's and soon to be Vergil's nuts, kind of like Max. So nothing to worry about there with the poison arrow.
Super Saiyan Ryu looks ridiculous. I mean, he certainly looks like a fun character to play now, but seriously nothing he does seems to make any sense. There has never been a Street Fighter game where he does that stuff, except maybe rainbow edition. Are they actually referencing that? Multi fireball! Invisidoken!
There are still four characters out there whose nuts need riding, #10, and I really think there will be some decent Iron Fist pickups when the game is released due to his amazing damage output. He's the only character I know whose damage output excuses the lack of movement because of how many options he has to hit an opponent with. He hits like Hulk but can hit at any level with his Rekkas and rack in major damage. In a group of new guys based on tricks and zoning, he seems like the lone rushdown character and that is kinda special to me.
this game is still one combo kill with x-factor. I saw alot of players like tokido, Marlinpie pie will just XF and kill your character. then there is 50% chance of your they will kill your next character coming in.
#13 Which is one of the reasons why I'm picking up Iron Fist on my team. He seems like a fairly solid late game offensive-anchor too, maybe even better than Akuma. X-Factor to power up attack, power up chi to boost defense, he can be hard to take down if he has the right assists. I'll also give Firebrand a whirl and he might replace Felicia on my team, since he's looking really good. So...Firebrand, Iron Man, Iron Fist for Day 1 team, but it could change.
The reason I said Dante and Vergil in particular is because, at least for me, Dante was the character I saw most online. And I know a bunch of people will have Dante, Vergil, and Wesker as team simply because they look cool instead of actually formulating a team. And it kind of gets me mad when I see that.
What happens to someone if you poison arrow them and then hit them with a snapback?
Ghost Rider will dominate, He's definitely goin on my team. Hawkeye with that Omni directional hyper arrow. Not gonna use him but i can tell you he will be a great character. And I dont give a damn, dont care how he fights, Rocket Raccoon is goin on my team. But anyway great vid. I didnt get to meet Clockwork but i at least got a picture with Ultra David and Justin Wong. Talked to Dios X as well. Great event. Damnit i was lookin so hard for Max, but I couldnt find him no matter where I looked.

Yea a guy who says maybe capcom is screwing us because they are making a game that should have been MvC3 and selling it as UMvC3 is totally wrong. Even Max said there wasnt really anything new except air x factor....so yea Joe might not know as much about the game but he does have a point. Giving capcom over 100 dollars (without DLC) for an expansion of a game they sold us the same year
@2
Joe was mainly talking about the fact that another version of the same game was going to be released so soon and that its basically a character expansion (which it is) and the fact that there just now adding modes like Spectator to get this disc to sell.
In the end however it comes down to you the buyer. I do agree with Joe but I'll end up buying the game because while I do agree with him I just want to play me some Nemesis!
The way he was using Vergil clearly shows that he is not a clone. Can't wait to use him.
@#19
You say that as if a character expansion in a freaking fighting game is not enough.
It's a character vs character game, under a set of rules, aka the mechanics of the game.
When you add new characters, and finetune existing cast and mechanics, you have worthwhile content for a new edition.
I wonder what some people expect from a new edition in a fighting game.
A few hours of a story? A bowling minigame? Dunno.
WHERE DOES MAX GET THIS GOD-OF-EXECUTION NONSENSE FROM , MVC3 WAZ HELLA EASY ON THE EXECUTION ,
YOU CAN KILL A GUY DESPITE EXECUTION WITH THE DHC GLITCH OVER AND OVER OR LVL 1 X FACTOR WITH WOLVERINE....
@25 I will agree I think adding twelve characters an tweaking the remaining cast definitely can warrant a disc release I have never once in my life bought a fighting game because of the modes (just me) as long as it has versus and training that's all I care about
#26 Easy to execute, but absolute execution without flaws was insane in this game. See: Combofiend's whole team, Fanatiq's Mag or Storm, Justin's Wesker or Richard Nguyen's Dante.
Basic were easy to execute, but some stuf in this game had ridiculously strict execution and most of the time it was guaranteed character K.O. if done right.
#2 It's his opinion, and he had good points. Don't know why you have knock Joe's opinion and ride Max's nuts just because his opinion is in line with yours. Close-minded much?
Loving the new Felicia tech
