@5 to be clear while Daigo lost to Poongko at Evo2011, Poongko did not win Evo2011. And since then Daigo has been wuppin his Seth for quite some time. You can learn the match ups all you want, but it does'nt take away from the fact tha Yun has too many advantages againts most of the cast. Match ups only go so far you still have to be good at the game.

As I record, there are few, if any good Yun on Xbox live, however there are far more dp mashing scrubs or 360 spd mashing scrubs, alot of Yun's are from Japan and they are very good with not just Yun but multiple characters, 1/4 is mindless? when you got that high of a bp count, its pretty safe to say they have a strong fundamentals with the game dont you think?

Same thing can be said about sagat having advantages against the majority of the cast simply by having fast fireballs and fadc dp, but you dont hear people bitching about him right? most pros consider sagat having 6-4 against Yun so he is broken? Of course matchups goes so far, you need to be good at the game, the point is that Yun hasnt won any major tournament after the release of AE proved that he is not broken.
I seriously doubt you people complaining are even decent at the game, I main bison and he is one of the characters that has bad anti air against dive kicks but you dont see me complaining, instead I learn the matchup and havent lost a game to Yun yet ( a few to good Feis).

Do you know if there is any place where you can find reocrds of which character wins the majority of the online matches for both XBox Live and PSN???
I ask because from my own experience. The majority of the online victories in AE are still going to Sagat players and Guile players, due to the fact that these two characters are still the cheapest and easiest to play.
If there are any characters who definitively fit the description of "autopilot" then it'll be Sagat and Guile. Yun, Yang, and Fei Long do not even come close to the definition of "autopilot," not by a long shot.

Yun and Yang were designed to mimic Duo Maxwell and Trowa Barton. Pretty sure it's in the All About Capcom Mook. Also, lol at people fearing Gen-ei Jin in SF4. It is not scary if it's not activated in a combo. Just be happy it's not the SF3 Gen-ei Jin.

I'm not sure where you can find those information but I do know Japanese and American Sf scene online are very different, I do keep close attention to Japanese scene because thats where the game is at and I do watch Japanese pros play online, the amount of top players using a variety of different characters, not just limit to twins and fei is amazing. In America xbox live is all about easy to pick up characters like Ryu, Ken, Guile, and this is the truth...

People still argue about whether Yun is broken or not?. Tournament placement does not dictate Broken-ness or Non-Broken-ness of a character. Tournaments show the way people are using that character at that time. For all we know, a character can be "broken" and no one would know for sure because it is possible no one is playing the character in the right way. Strike the sh!tty logic out and a proper argument you may have (on either side).
Yun has many useful tools, but AE2012 will be around soon, and it will limit the usefulness of those tools a little. In other news, I'm eager to try 2012 Yang out. I'm thinking Gouken/Yang is my team from then on out.
Those people who think Yun is "Broken" should come to 3rd strike and look at Chun Li, her match ups and how 3rd strike fanboi defend their game from "unbalance character". 6-4 against most of the cast and some 7-3 as well as 3 4.5 bad match up, meh, how about 1 4-6 bad match up and the rest are 7-3 and 8-2.
Yet Chun Li was not nerfed for 10 years
#26 Hate to break it to you, but Yang got hit harder with the nerf bat than Yun, if not just as hard. Capcom know's they're BOTH an issue, not just Yun.
