@#5 tsurugi on wake-up makes DP's whiff which equals a free punish for insane damage

@5 In most cases the uppercut will whiff giving you a free punish.

I have a question regarding this video. How does doing a Hayate cancel- st. MP- into a Tsurugi work? Why aren't you able just to do it before they wake up?

@ #11. Those moves are an aid to precisely time the tsurugi. And you need very precise timing of the tsurugi (as well as wake-up set-ups for other characters) to make it work as an unblockable or whatever.
