Ono informed his Twitter readers of some of his upcoming plans, and also dropped some relatively obscure hints on if some fighters will or won't be included in Street Fighter X Tekken.

Here's a rundown of what he had to say.

Ono: We'll be uploading information about SSF4 AE v2012 September 21st and 22th. Could be check at Capcom-Unity site! ;D

So when will the next teaser trailer be released? I want to see Asuka already. :( — MidknightNinja

Ono: I'll make preparation teaser trailer at Brazil Game Show! ;D [Editor's note: Brazil Game Show runs from October 5 - 9, 2011.]

Ono-san, will you be showing new characters at Brazil Game Show? — Ruhul_A

Ono: I don't have idea just now. But I'll be something new. ;D

What new stuff is there to announced for Street Fighter X Tekken? — Theu_Legend

Ono: I announced the GEM system at Tokyo Game Show. I'll be [covering] it in detail at New York Comic-Con! ;) [Editor's note: NYCC runs from October 13 - 16, 2011.]

Is it true SFxT has only 6 more characters to be announced? — LiamCocks

I never said it was going to be blanka lol (i hope its not). Like a #5 Ex Ein listed, theres more than one fighter from brazil in both series, besides elena(from africa but uses capoeira). Also theres Christie. Then again it might not be any of these characters. All in all, its just wishful thinking on my part.

I'll be interested in AE when they add the new SF characters to AE.

SF VS TK gameplay wise will be inferior to SFIV but new characters man! I just hope they port them to AE as soon as possible.

Elena is long overdue.

Well, you never know. There are probably Tekken characters who use charge moves. Personally I'm looking forward to seeing how they play the most.

Still, I'm off to my corner to cry about Alex not making the cut. :/

Also, they'd be insane to skip Eddy. At least put in Christie for cripes sake.

I've done all I could to get Juri in the game. Begged for her at EVO during his panel... and have tweeted begging for her many a time before/since then. I can only hope :-/

Interesting response to the Akuma and Gouken question i assume this line "but he is always... Hehehe " to refer to Akuma being one of the staple characters who is in almost all of Capcom fighters so this might be a suttle hint towards him being in the game.

And since they are doing it in Brazil, there's nothing wrong with speculation. Despite the fact that it could be 'anyone'; Blanka, Sean, Oro, etc. are possibly higher picks because of the location. Doesn't mean it'll happen, but let people dream. =P

@ 20 there's no charge ”characters” in Tekken just a few moves that require charging. Like Paul Phoenix's Somersault Failure for example.

Capoeira is not from brazil either. It comes from Africa too. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is more "brazillian" than Capoeira.

@41 It was developed in Brazil by African slaves. It does have its origins in I think it was their war dances... but it Brazilian. It's been a while since I've studied the history and I don't have my books with me, sorry :(.

As for Brazilian Jiujitsu, the same thing applies. It has its roots elsewhere... but it is Brazilian.

I want Karin and Urien but I would rather have them in SF4 if I had to choose one, both games would be better.

I am looking forward to SFxT but SF4 is just too good. I want them to $milk$ that one some more. I would still be happy to pay for many more characters/stages in SF4.

I know they want to move on from SSF4. But we still want more! Why turn down our money?

SSF4 Final Recipe:

1) Rebalance it for 2012

2) Announce one more character making it 40 even. Alex ftw!

3) Release New Alt costume pack

4) In a few months release a Three stage DLC pack

5) Call it a day. Announce that it's all said and done. For real this time! Because if they don't give some closure people are going to keep asking for more.

As much as I hate fighting against a decent/good Blanka, I wouldn't mind if he were added, neither if Sean is announced.

I personally don't see why any Street Fighter character has more merit over the other, whether it's play-style, or appearance in any of the games.

I main Adon, but regardless of whether is is ever added, I will still buy this game and will enjoy it with other characters.

Someone wants to play strictly Ryu or Ken, what's wrong with that? It'd not as if they are the only guys you'll see online, or at least here in Europe, I see basically every character.

Some more than others, sure, but definitely not 95% Ryu/Ken.

On topic, can't wait for the announcements and the details on the Gem system.

Elena/Eddy/Christie can play on the Tekken x Street fighter.

Then while you add Karin, give some more love to Maki. Then once you give some more love, add that Juri and Dictator.

Then once your at your limit release some "ShoshoshoshoshoshoshoshoshoShoshosho"
