lol daigo is king of the scrubs #1 in the arcade but can't win a tournament
lol all of a sudden bcuz he didn't win evo he can't win a tournament, come on when his presence is confirmed for any tournament the hype reaches its peak, there is a certain hype level that can only be reached if he is there, you know what that means? He is the truth, and he is the best, but the best can be beaten as we all know by now you can't deny that he is well deserving of the title "THE BEAST"
But im mad cuz there is no makoto in the top 20 :(
what the f*** is this? sekiganryu? That Ryu player has ALWAYS been AkameRyu. He's been a grandmaster Ryu since vanilla and he's from Hokkaido. How the hell is he all of a sudden Sekiganryu. He's always been addressed as AkameRyu...

What impresses me most about Daigo is that he's beating people 10 years younger than him at an age (30) where his reflexes aren't what they used to be. Choi is a little older and Valle is about the same age and they haven't been anywhere near as dominant as Daigo in SF4. It makes you wonder what it would be like if he was 8 or 10 years younger.
for the record: Daigo is 30. Valle is at least 4 years older THAN him. and Choi is as old as Valle or maybe a little older. Check out the very first international SF tourney at Battle of the Bay. SFA3 Championship: Valle v.s. Daigo. Valle lost 2-1 and Dagio became champ. He was also the Japanese champion at SFA3 at that time, having beaten thousands of Japanese. I think he faced Ohnuki at the finals in Japan.
edit: * maybe it wasn't BAttle at the Bay. but it was SFA3 World championship that took place on the year 1998. check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PyGyGU...
@Toro_Riki
Is that how you cry? seriously? if you've being watching the the high level japanese plays lately you would have seen that the majority of pros pretty much have adopted the twins and fei's game.
@22
You bring up a very good point. He has been dropping quite a bit of Genei Jin combos during his recent tournaments (Revelations, NCR9, Evo2K11, and Godsgarden). And dame, I didn't know that he is already 30 years old. He looks like he's 21 or something in that ballpark. LOL.
#18- First of all, calm down.
Secondly, I've seen him called Akame Ryu and sekiganryu about equally, personally. On PSN, he calls HIMSELF sekiganryu. So... yeah... take it easy.
It doesn't matter either way. You know who the person is, regardless.
Speaking of which, for some reason, this list puts him as a Grandmaster, when he's clearly an Ultimate Master, just like everyone else on the list. I'm pretty sure the top 50 players are Ultimate Master (outside of #1, who is Warrior).
man kazunoko getting closer,that's mean one thing:umehara 's gouki is already 50k
