Tip from Brazilanubis3 and Metromantis.

Tru dat.
But too bad we couldn't get someone who knew what they were doing on that.
So yeah, she was just pulling off Hyakuretsukyaku's and Swiss Cheese's left and right. The only thing we could learn from this is:
- Akuma still has that red gi color with the SF3 white streak in his hair.
- Chris gives you the boot in his portrait.
- ...Did Wolverine's Drill Claw get a range buff?
The game looks like it will play well on the PS Vita.
VITA SCREEN GOT SOME SERIOUS VERTICAL HEIGHT , LOOKS LIKE THE SIZE OF A BRICK
She didn't know what she was doing but it looks awesome!

Ono said he really wants to make the games and seeing as how SSFIV sold over a million copies, they already both might be in the works for 3DS just so Capcom can strike while the irons hot, but then again they might need to have to much of a graphical cut down to fit and i dont know then if theyd even be worth it. As good as this looks id rather have teh console version only and not have to buy another copy for on the go with out the kind of playability i prefer.
lol @14 it does look cool I remember when I let my ex play marvel 3 she picked chun, viper, jill and was just doing the same move anyways the vita version is gonna be good I wonder if the vita version will be able to play with the ps3 people that would be cool
My feelings about UMvC3 notwithstanding, the Vita is shaping up to be an impressive piece of hardware. That big screen is just gorgeous to look at, and the game looks to be running very smoothly. And that's not to mention the functionality; one thing that really had me interested was the footage of LBP where you could use the back touch panel to move stuff from the background to the foreground. What if you could touch a life bar to tag out a character? With the 3DS having trouble, Sony could really step up and get sales with Vita.
it looks so good... but i couldnt play it on those controls. ick.
I dont care what anyone else thinks i just preordered a vita, because of this and SfxT, being able to practise combos on the move? hell yes.
@#13
Not convinced it would run as fine on 3ds . While running well , they still removed lots of details in SF4 (even look at the stiff backgrounds) for a game that's hardly rssources heavy . At the very least not even as greedy as sfxt and mvc3
MVC3 and sfxt got a lot more got on , and vita seems to propose the same game as if , minus the obvious originall resolutions .
We havent yet seen anything that good looking with as many onscreen stuff on 3ds . At least not yet .
@ #31
Yeah, but the thing is with the 3D. If they didn't have to do the whole 3D thing the game would require much less resources, and those could go into better details.
Of course Vita also has the edge hardware wise, but 3D really hurts the 3DS.
Ummm I hate portables this looks very nice though, I'd still rather play anger birds on the go...and If its a long road trip my xbox can be played in my car....good day Vita....good day....
the game looks as good as good in as bad she is at the game and (@Summoner) at full 1080p HD yea I guess she looks ok lol.
Can someone please tell what is the point of having a console fighting game on a portable system?
Sturmgeist13 well...if you aren't able to figure it out by yourself than i'll give you the clue...because you are able to play it anywhere you go, its comfortable, its easily packed, its always to be there no matter where you are so yeah...thats the point...
For me Vita's looking like the way forward, quality current gen games casually played in my lunch hour.
Summoner ~ I didn't ask what's the point of portable consoles in general was, (which is what you answered) I said what's the point of having a console fighting game on a portable console. Why would you play UMvC3 on a tiny screen, with dumbed down performance & with a crappy control scheme? If you were in anyway serious about any fighting game then you would want to play the definitive version of that game, which in this case is the console version. But if you're not serious & just want to fart around with it for a few minutes, which is what casual fighting game fans do I highly doubt they would pay the $40-$60 just to mess around with a game they're not interested in.

It doesn't always have to be serious business dude. Not everybody is gunning to place top 8 at EVO. Sometimes people play games for fun and if you dont think MVC3 appeals to the casual gamers you are seriously out of touch. It will be okay, the pesky casual gamers with their portable fighting games cant hurt you. Take a few deep breaths and move on with your life.
Perhaps this is why the PSP did not get any of the street fighter IV titles. Maybe if this does well, they will release it at a later date. But yes the graphics are pretty impressive. As for the slightly larger screen... Nothing wrong with that. gives you that much more to work with <3.
Lol leave the woman alone.. She is a cosplaying employee.. Obviously from her skills you should not expect her to throw out the pro techniques. There will be other chances and other players showing off this gameplay.
Fighting games are back where they should be... On top. I mean I love all games and will play whatever comes my way but just the overhaul of FPS was annoying to me for a little while. Now granted I played some of them but they were everywhere for a good while... Crap.. rambling again lol.
Anyways, I hope one day there will be some form of peace in the fighting game community?
Shinzero ~ I take it you only read half of my post. Alright I'll give you a hand. In my latter post I said that even if you are a casual fan of fighting games then most of them don't really purchase the game, they play it at a friends house or at the store. The only people who are willing to buy this version of UMvC3 are the people who can play the game, as in people who practice, & if you practice then why would you play a dumbed down version of the game? If you practice then there is absolutely no other way to practice but on the definitive console version.
who cares about this, wheres MH for the vita
oh wow that looks exactly like how it would on the ps3 these next gen portable consoles are amazing
