That's because if they debuted first, nobody would even remember to watch the other character reveals. Everyone knows that Phoenix Wright will be as broken tier in UMvC3 as Dark Phoenix was MvC3.

Well, it looks like we got another one, Nemesis and Vergil are officially revealed for their RE tean and DMC team. I really hope that they're not going to put in Phoenix Wright because he can't fight. Throwing gavels and yelling "Objection!" on the other hand is not fighting at all. They should really choose any Capcom character over Wright. Keep up the good work Capcom! I know you can do it.
