That's why I body about 90% of /v/. Hardly any of them have any fundamentals. Yet they still love to talk crap.
@2
I hate to admit, he know Gen more than 80% of Gen players, Gen is not shenanigans and matchup, look at his movements, he even placed third with Gen in a tournament, he was for the most part on point with his moves.
Remember that gouken fireball has small recovery than the usual shoto and the cMK stuff is not necessary a must for Gen, its just an option out of many.
I play Gen for years, since vanilla and even though I may have more knowledge of Gen than Xian, his understanding of fundamentals is way beyond mine.
I respect him for choosing Gen.
@6
i'm in the same situation as you.
just that those little tricks can save you, like when he jump between the 2 balls of the ex hado.(c)c.mk is just easier.
I know about gouken's hado recovery , but it's guile or deejay, it's something you buffer anytime you jump in.
Anyway glad to see someone who can show that it's not AE, it's GE : Geriatric Edition :D
Ugh man, I really hope Xian steps his Gen game up. Those random Supers and Ultras are KILLING me. That meter is so incredibly precious for Gen that it makes me feel all wrong when I see someone waste it like that. He's getting pretty good with Gen footsies, and he's starting to really get the combos down, but at this point it seems he's really flying on the fact that his opponent doesn't know how to punish Gen.
@8
And replying to me makes you what? Super King Turd?
@#15
I don't think that it is random super, its just a little off,the only thing that looks funny is all the sMP that gouken failed to punish, but if you watch his last tourney that he played Gen he was on point with the supers and ultra.
I am suprised that Xian is this good with Gen after just a short while. that is why fundamentals are so important
