It's interesting to see how much you can do within the game's engine, even if it does not win you matches.
Especially one you have sunk many hours in.

No one told you to click this link, you don't have to watch anything you don't want to. Moreover, it has Desk's name in the title so you know what you're getting into when you click on it. Stop crying little boys, only pissed cause you have absolutely no hope of ever doing anything close to this.

As for me, I agree with most of the comments here but I'm not going to go out of my way to negatively bash a video that someone took time and effort to make just because it doesn't fit my fancy. Grow up.

For starters, if you watch all his vids, the 'infinites' are SITUATIONAL.
So, if he faces against a character it does not work against, a problem arises.
Then, you have to actually land a hit properly to start it. You think that's easy?
Execution is important, but is nowhere near defining.
Not even counting the possibility that the guy may not even want to compete or have the time to travel around in tourneys as well.
Posters get more and more stupid by the hour.

I like Desk but I want something crazy like those Combonauts videos he has skill but I would like a video where he records the game and him self in one full shot not the 2 screen view.

I agree that whether he competes or not is irrelevant. The loops are just getting repetetive. Regarding tool assist, I wouldn't doubt someone executing any of these combos if they spent enough time, just make sure you're recording the whole time so when you do nail it, you got it. I've spent hours trying to nail some of the trial combos, so satisfying when I completed it. I wish they made trials for yun, yang, oni and E.ryu. I know you can practice whatever links/combos you want, but I enjoy the satisfaction of earning those titles and icons.

@10: First of, I like Desk, he's cool and he normally makes good videos. HOWEVER That doesn't mean you can't have an opinion and or/change opinion. This is boring..Its the 10th time the same thing has been posted. Doesn't mean they hate Desk..they hate the leg loops.

It's not that this combo doesn't take skill it's because he keeps doing this sht over and over. If we wanted to see this again we'd be watching his other 20 videos featuring this loop.

I happen to think his stuff is legit, but I'd like to see him use the rest of the roster. His chun-li is played out.

many of the infinite's existed before desk ever made a video but you over indulgent fanboyz showed up and turned him into some god who supposedly boke games when most of that stuff waz already out there in forums already but he just put it out in a video also chun infinities were in mvc2 and seth said they weren't gonna take them out before mvc3 came out etc so y is he credited like he discovered it i don't know...

It's the fact hiz videos are turning into him just showing off ( that's not a bad thing so get real ) and yet regardless of repetition or value he gets free access to this site and others main page with basically the same combo over and over now they are other people doing chun li loops vidz so i'm wondering - can they get the same treatment and get the same loops posted over and over like desk?
of course not desk has a name and machininma took him up so now we gothim posting the same stuff a million times and he is yet to play against someone which i think in this dry spell of waiting for ssf4 ae2012 and umvc3 would be better than this crap..

Kinda repetitive, but Desk is still the man! One of the best I've seen to execute moves. Desk does have other videos, beside the Chun videos, for those who have a problem with theses ones and they're great too.

Not sure I understand all the hate Desk is getting. You do realise he doesn't post these videos on EventHubs, right? He adds them to his channel, which he made for the sole purpose of uploading just such videos.

If you have a problem, take it up with Eventhubs for featuring the video as a news article. Desk's just doing what he's always done, and I hope he keeps it up.
