@dude130 Sorry xD
4 player mode looks hectic, Online training will be freaking great (lots of people have wanted this for ages), and the Pandora System looks awesome. A cool gameplay mechanic.
And people say Capcom don't listen to fans :D
You see jin on the 3:57-3:58 min mark. Look at the hair and style of position.
pandora the next X FACTOR lets hope its even more OP!
Capcom....take my money, my bonds, and my savings. Just take it lmaoo
Is it just me, or does Heihachi have.....Gouki's animations¿ And he has the SF Ex 2 first level hurricane kick :P
Awesome.
"Huge power boost"
Please don't let this be gamebreaking like X-Factor.
CAPCOM, you are forgiven for Mega Man Legends 3.
TAKE MY MONEY! ALL OF IT. MY WALLET AND SAVINGS ACCOUNT IS ALL YOURS!!!
Looks interesting so far... idk about the whole story concept but we will see how it comes together. That free-for-all mode looks out of control! By looking at it idk what to think other then will I be able to attack.
Also, welcome P factor.
Seriously these features just blew my brains all over the desk! Can't wait for release. Lets GO!!
Where are the Capoeira characters? This looks cool though, I prefer one strong character over two normal characters! :D
@19 X-factor is a comeback mechanism. It's to make it so that someone with 1 character can still comeback. This seems more like Juri's Ultra in SSF4
my body is ready capcom, and so are my pockets
THis is what I predicted for this game and its happening. 4 player action just like Marvel vs capcom 1..but better! My friend and myself have been preparing! us against whoever that want it. I just hope and and pray that this will be the only version! CAUSE I WILL BE SURELY PISSED OFF COME NEXT YEAR I BUY THIS GAME AND 6 MONTHS DOWN CAPCOM COMES OUT WITH ANOTHER DISC VERSION!!
*Sighs*
I'm not even gonna try stay annoyed that they added a comeback tool but the least they could of done was make it something OTHER than a glowing aura of nonsensical power. The thought of sacrificing your team mate and watching him faint in order to grant you with some Kyuubi Naruto Chakra is kind of contradictory to the theme of the game. I thought it was supposed to be all about Teamwork?
They could of at least made it so your team mate says a line of inspiring dialogue to give confidence to the character on point. The sacrificed character would then sit out the fight and cant be tagged in. Would of been much more hype and smart in my opinion. Just have the off character cheer/inspire/give faith to the point character and be done with it.
I understand they are tying this whole 'Pandora' thing to the story but man, this could of been made to at least look less 'X-factory'... ¬_¬
This is looking more epic by the month! They trolled me hard as when it said Here comes a new challenger!! i was like :o!!! Shame
@11 Not to shoot you down but thats Hwoarang bro, same jacket tanktop thingy, can see him goggles etc. Either way Jin is practically a given, not too long now till he is revealed
Now, after calming down and looking atb the Gameplay trailer, I am ont he fence about Pandora Mode.
It seems VERY Custom Comboish. Juggles for DAYS. And it seems you could even use a throw in there.
I guess it depends on if the power boost is massive, if it comes with health regen, etc.
Still so hype for the game!
@33
Sacrificing is part of teamwork. This is a system of either comeback or just a cool jumpoff. Stop hating. Damn!
2p cooperative mode looks sweet! Who wants to team up?
If Juri isn't announced, I plan on training with Kuma, so I can make it a point to fart on every Capcom character for my revenge!
@37
How is that hating? And its blatantly an "All in, balls to the walls, do or die Comeback Mechanic. Dont kid yourself.
I'm just expressing that if they was to do something like this, the least they could of done was make it look DIFFERENT to X-factor. Also, pressing an input and then watching your team mate die, isnt really a fitting image for co-operation.. but whatever
Does anyone else notice that the music in the Gametrailers video sounds an awful lot like Sakura and Karin's themes mixed together?
This is why I love Capcom. I've been writing about it forever, since SF4 was announced about an online training mode, I've written about it everywhere I could think of, and I can't help it but the feeling that they've finally listened. It feels good!
I also asked for a way to get the players more involved in co-op and helping each other, and what did close minded nerds tell me? Go play CoD. Little they know that the greatest games get inspiration from the unlikeliest genres. Look at FM4 and all of its features on top of the solid gameplay. Nice to Compete or Cooperate.
Also that Pandora box element is very familiar in other games, pieces of media like movies, and mystical mythologies. I personally don't like the evil look of the power boost. I'd love to see a less demonic look.
4-Player battles will be a noob fest.
thank out the stupid dramatic launch already.. nobody wants to see a million of those a match..
@48 It does look different to x-factor. It looks more like Asura's Wrath. The skin patterns and everything look boss.It's not just, character becomes silhouetted and glows red, It is actually changing the appearance of the character.
@Lemres 47
Hmmm, let's see.
A game that has an extremely strong emphasis on team-work is now giving you the option to sacrifice all the benefits of having a partner in order to gain some kind of bonus that probably revolves around increased damage or recovering life?
Dont be naive. Its a comeback mechanic.
Edit at myself:
It's just a remixed Tekken Tag theme. I wanted to believe.
not liking the story behind pandora mode, shouldve called it "ruthless" - mode (or something similar) and not include any kind of story behind it.
everything else is ACES!!!!!!!!
...ive been so hyped for this game that i think the pandora thing isnt going to bother me as much...hopefully...granted, i realy hope they put alot in the story, like every cutscene is a cinematic or something, wishful thinking i know, but this is one of my dream match ups so you can relate to my wishful thinking.
The Rolento & Xangief trailer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uqCRub...
@#57
...So, when you yourself choose at any moment to sacrifice your teammate for a boost, even when you are at an advantage, you are aiming for that comeback. When we do not even know if there is any connection to your health and if you gain more when at low health.
Makes perfect sense.
Goddammit people
@Lemres #62
"oh yeah because I would love to sacrifice my partner just for a damage boost but in turn limiting my options(no tag cancel combos, etc.) 2 against 1. Yeah not a comeback."
Dude, do you even know what comeback mechanic means? for you to say that and then at the end say its not a comeback mechanic doesnt make any sense. Of course you wouldn't want to use it if you are going to lose all the benefits of having a partner. All the more reason it looks like it should/will be only used as a Last Resort. Hence, Comeback Mechanic.
@LordJim #67
Lets make it clear that I'm not assuming that Pandora gives you back health or makes you stronger with lower health.
I just find it funny that most people are choosing to retain this weird sense of hope that it isnt a comeback mechanic when all the signs point to it being so. Anyone can see that sacrificing your partner in a team orientated game is probably something you should only do if you have no other choice or are forced to. Plus, just go back and look at SFIV and Marvel. It is not outrageous to think that Capcoms next game is going to include an equally obvious comeback opportunity button/input
I'll be really impressed with Pandora mode if it enables Zangief to combo 3 SPDs together.
It would be madnessssssssssssssssssssssss.
Not that this game didn't already have my money sealed, but online training mode is one of the things I've DREAMED of in current gen fighters.
4P battles = icing on teh cake.
I will not lie: I AM worried about this Pandora Mode and just how... "balanced" it will be. I was all hype for X-Factor until I used it/had it used against me...
The consequences for using it are much greater though, so that definitely helps. In comparison, essentially there is no consequence to using X Factor, aside from only being able to do it once and losing time/power depending on how early you use it.
Here, sure you get one very strong character, but that's also ALL you get. You have to sacrifice your partner to use it.
I am still hoping there is a way to shut it off though. Just in case.
ANYHOW, Lili <3 <3 <3
@#77
Unlike SF4 and MvC3, where you got a benefit from the natural course of the match, aka getting hit, you have to actively make the decision to sacrifice a teammate.
So yeah, even if there are comeback attributes to it revealed later, it is vastly different.
As it is now, it is a power-up mode unrelated to your own health with no comeback attributes.
I am so hype for this. My real question is with 4 players offline and if they are all using sticks...iirc ps3 and xbox360 only have 2 usb ports unless its the old fat ps3. guess they have to buy one of those extra usb things. plz correct me if im wrong thnx
@48
I can understand where you come from but this sh!t is literally dope. Not because it is another x-factor, but because this system has never been done in a street fighter game.
@75
Right cuz shoto players are the only players that mash. What a moron.
@84 cheers, his a strange fellow to say the least!
Yeah pandora is blatently a comeback mechanic, it does seem to have alot more reprecussions than xfactors and ultras though which is good. Personally i dont mind comeback mechanics aslong as they're not op like xfactor. Let's just hope when more news is revealed that it isnt like xfactor
@89
well, wat other characters have dragon punchs?
@LordJim #80
I wouldn't say vastly different. Seems like wishful thinking. I do HOPE it is very different and yes, the whole concept of choosing to sacrifice your partner to use it is interesting but there obviously will be some beneficial comeback attributes attached or it defeats the whole purpose of using it. Why would you use this if you lose your partner and dont gain some sensible boost that still gives you a good chance to win?
Im not even too fussed about the whole Comeback Mechanic, I just didnt like the whole concept of sacrificing. Would of much preffered to see your partner cheer you on from the side lines and sit the rest of the match out. Its a personal gripe but yeah, I'm all about characters and seeing them fleshed out and this would of made it much more cooler to watch. Seeing certain characters say certain things to each other to power up the point, just like how MvC3 has all this different cool dialogue depending on who you start the match against. Thats just me though.
Wait, is it me or it's feeling like Mortal Kombat 9 because of the 4 player mode?
@Lemres #90
Lol well I hope that when more details are released, we dont find out that you get the remaining health that your parnter had, added to you. Because that wouldnt be surprising, and it actually makes sense.
Anyway, a comeback mechanic is not de-throned as a comeback mechanic for putting you in a disadvantageous situation. Giving you a good fair chance to still get a victory, in a situation that wasn't going in your favor, is what a Comeback Mechanic is. Allowing you to take the flow of the match away from your opponent and give you a chance of building your own momentum or coming back from a losing scenario
@#95
How it is implemented and the aesthetics around it are a whole different issue. I just wanted to point out that the mechanics revealed as far already make it very different than X-Factor, and other power up or health dependent modes (like Rage from Tekken 6, purest comeback mode, or KoF 94-98 Extra mode that allowed infinite DMs or MAX mode that used 1 bar for power-up).
@ CharlieKun - I kinda' agree. Just seems odd that say, Julia would sacrifice someone else to gain power.
Someone (can't recall if it was in this topic or somewhere else, so my bad for stealing this!) mentioned thinking of it as Fusion rather than sacrifice. That makes more sense, I suppose.
Not a huge deal though, as gameplay-wise I think it's a good concept that if handled well, will be nothing short of awesome.
Just... don't make it too powerful Capcom. I like for my few brilliant comebacks to still be skill-based (despite my total lack of skill) thanks.
If Pandora is pretty much V(?)-Ism/Ge-Nei Jin, I'm cool with it. If it's like X-factor with a speed/power boost, not so cool with it.
There's actually a payment for unleashing Pandora though, unlike X-factor. I'm sure they are gonna try to balance it out as much as possible. Also, if one fighter's health is low, and the other is high, the HP should meet at the middle or something of the sort, rather than combine remaining health.
Dual matches are gonna be insane! EVO is gonna be very interesting next year. Scrambles is just for fun, no one is going to take it seriously, and it only adds more value to the game to have more modes to play, especially in a fighting game.
If they are really smart, dip switches that can turn off Pandora should be available.
i just watched all the trailers and i just got to say..
HOLY FREAKING @@@@!!!
this game puts UMVC to ULTIMATE SHAME. at least there trying to make a story out of this cross over of 2 franchise. and just look at all those MODES! thank you ono, your the Man"i'm putting your photo next to jesus".
https://twitter.com/#!/sethkillian
pandora is not a simple comeback mechanism, more a high stakes gamble
In other news, The 2v2 mode is going to be amazing.
Now fighting games can have a 2v2 tournament bracket where our favorite (and non-favorite) tournament players can team up and duke it out on stream. Imagine all the team combinations and hype!? Starcraft also has high level 2v2 play so its great that we can get some of that same goodness in a fighter.
I hope the Tekken players who are strictly Tekken enjoy this game and play it a lot. If Namco and Capcoms original intention works out and both SF and Tekken communities are together playing the same game, it can only spell good things for fighting games as a whole
Tekken Tag Tournament theme on that 3rd video is great.
@113
"There are now two parallel dimensions and Galactus is going to eat them both if the heroes of each side can't stop them, but first they'll have to stop fighting each other! In the mean time, the villains of each world pledge allegence to Galactus in order to gain power while plotting their own evil schemes!"
"There's a magic space cube that is shocking the world as it can grant super powers! The big bad guys of Tekken and Street Fighter collide as they fight for the prize! This is an all stakes battle, there have already been casualties!"
Yeah... the story is MUCH better. Just wait until it's just really nice cutscenes with the standard Arcade mode, just like UMvC3.
@Lemres #118
Yeah and this comment is coming from the same bunch of people who have said many things but then done another. We'll see in due time but I wouldn't bend over so quickly if I was you. I want as much as you do for this Pandora to not be a generic comeback mechanic, so no need to call me Stupid thanks.
Well the Ryu pic shows his life bar flashing red. We don't know how much of a boost it will give you and besides if ONE character dies it's over, so if you got a char almost dead, then it's better of to sacrifice him/her to avoid tagging in by mistake for example and lose the fight. I don't see what's so bad about it, anyways if you really are a good player you shouldn't be bothered by a "comeback" mechanic, just be more careful that's all.
@125 Except X factor doesn't make you sacrifice a character hehe.
I'm hoping they gave Lili the ability to change her stance, because this screenshot kind of looks like she can.
No one is an idiot for saying it's a comeback mechanic, because at "minimum," it's going to give low level players a way to strike back against more skillful opponents. If you can't see that already, you need a new pair of glasses.
Cross Assault is an obvious comeback mechanic. Pandora mode is to SFxT as Kaio-Ken is to Goku: http://dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/Kaio...
Notice that Goku can choose his Kaio-Ken at any point in a fight, but when will he use it? When he gets DESPERATE or feels like his back against the corner. The very nature of it will make it a comeback mechanic amongst many players, even if by design it is not intended for that purpose.
If you're getting your azz beat and you can call it out to make a difference in the match, it's a comeback mechanic. It's not rocket science folks, we all know Capcom wants $$$.
I'm not against it, I just wondered how CA would compare to Pandora mode. I thank those that answered me. :D
And Pandora Zangief is hilarious. Neon pink chest hair.
@107 The problem with Mortal Kombat is that the tag fights suck. half the cast are hardly compatable and the tag combos are too strict adn specific. Here there is more flexiblility.
Also consider the fact that you have ONLINE TRAINING! So you can train with friends on or offline combos and stratagies you've been working on in. MK does'nt have that.
Duel Mode will probably be a "for fun" mode and I think it will get a lot of play time too.
I kind of wish (And Hope) UMvC3 does something like this.
@127
... Kaio-ken doesn't require a partner to use unlike Pandora. If that was true then Super Saiyans are in line the same thing even though alot started a fight already in the super state. Like others before Pandora would better be compared to something like a fusion it ends up creating a stronger different in appearance being.
@130
Yeah, let's argue DBZ canon and just ignore the pretty decent point that the guy brought up. I don't know about you, but I'm not going to use Pandora unless I'm about to die so that I can make a comeback. Unless of course that it gets weaker as your health declines, which is entirely possible. That's why I'm waiting for Seth's breakdown.
#121
ok Mvc3 story mode is just a joke. infact i wouldnt even call it a joke really sense i dont even get a chuckle out of it. all it is just a boss at the end along with a pic with some text.i didnt know the story until you pointed that out which is sad.if you asked a kid off the street" hey what MvC3 story" they be like"story?"
now st4 story had had a animated opening, rival cutscenes, mini games and to finish off, an animated ending. now i not sure how this is going to go story wise but i bet is going to be Hell alot better than Mvc3.story wise,online mode wise,and generally anything esle wise too.
yea im Bashing on Mvc3
but thats for another time (fun game though)
(HNNNNG I JUST CAME I CAN'T STOP...SCRAMBLE MODE HNNNNNNNNNNNG
OMG
OMG!
A TEAR
CAME
TO
MY
EYE!)
Well I believe everything has already been said already except for one thing I have still in mind:
Specifically look at Zangief's intro in the Rolento/Zangief trailer, mainly when he activates his Super Art. As it is it's his standard Final Atomic Buster.
Now go back to the site and find the video archive of all the other characters Super Arts/Cross Assaults posted earlier here, especially King's, Marduk's, and Hugo's. I couldn't help but realize that all of the previously mentioned three's Super Arts (as well as the others') feature a hit effect, meaning that they are Hit-Confirm supers.
After seeing that and going back to Zangief's trailer I have to ask: Is Zangief going to be the only known character in the game (out of the Grapplers nonetheless) to have a Grab Super?
I was Hoping that Vega was gonna be in this one, would have been wicked Vega and Rolento Team.
My grandmother cannot die quick enough to give me the inheritance to buy this game! j/k but seriously Capcom, take my money, take my house.
We need a thumbs up feature in EH!! Some of these comments are just too funny or godlike!
@144 LMAO
I'm still a little worried about this Pandora mode.
BUT THIS TRAILER WAS F#<KING AMAZING.
SCRAMBLE MODE!
ONLINE TRAINING!
LILI!
...OHHH SEXY LILI!
Yea im gonna need this on PC too guys, thanks.
WOO!
Tekken Tag Tournament theme music ftw!!!
But seriously, I see Capcom is returning Dramatic Battle under the name of Scramble Mode. Taken a page out of Street Fighter EX3's book, I see, even though it originally started with Alpha.
@150 Dramatic Battle mode was so much fun!! I still play that with friends when I hook up my ps2
Not enough USB ports for all 4 players using sticks. soo errr, screwed????
What I would like the Pandora mode to be is, that you can cancel into pandora mode to continue a combo without any extra damage. So on the whole you would do more stun(is there stun in this game?) and the damage would scale like a regular combo.
example with ryu: c.mk --> SRK --> pandora --> wall-bounce kick (sorry don't know the name) --> SRK
So basically it's like a FADC without any extra damage just more stun and combo opportunity. Good to kill of opponent.
My opinion so no hate just comment on what you think. =D
wonder WHO will be the Boss for SFxTK someone completely orginal or what?! The whole cosmic aspect of Pandora makes me think of - http://i53.tinypic.com/2ui7hvn.jpg
Hope the Netcode is Godlike in this game so less lag.
Would be heaven.
Anybody notice Roger is on the billboard in the second video, the one that says "Call of the Wild"
I like it but I'm still kind of iffy about the four player thing. it seems kind of sloppy and non-SF or Tekken to me :/ still excited though!
I'm skeptical of Pandora mode; it seems like Capcom's way of pandering to the 14-year olds that wanted Evil versions of everybody and their cats.
But, this game got too many good announcements this week for me to care. Online training mode? The option for 4 VS 4? Rolento? Dammit, this game is looking good.
@153: Would a USB splitter work?
Man the 2v2 in this game is to good to be true, I got to see this in action when it hits home i feel it's going to die out after a while. Kind like tourney mode in AE, but i am going to love this a whole lot if it's the real deal,I have a feeling this will be a great fighting game.
@JaimeKing
yh man, I'm feeling the same way I mean what is up with scramble mode? just looks ass
so far tekken's roster looks epic while SF's side is just... lame well apart from rolento.
Speculation: The lower your partner's health before you sacrifice them, the less time Pandora is active. Likewise, the higher your partner's hp before sacrificing, the longer Pandora will last. This would be to prevent the strategy of "lol One of my character in on magic pixel, time to sacrifice them for full Pandora and get a Marvel style Lv 3 X factor win." But this IS Capcom after all, I doubt they would be that smart.
Thoughts?
I recognize every move that Lili did. So awesome.
@169 The gauge might reflect how much health they have. So if it's high in health it probably last longer where as if they are near death it does'nt last as long. Probably to make it worth the risk.
Pretty homicidal though, sacraficing your partner for more power.
I always say this and I will say it again:
"Nitsuma should learn a thing or two from Ono"
I just want Capcom to say...
"We WILL refund your money in FULL if there is an expansion of SFxTekken like we did with SF4 and MvC3"
Unless they say that...Im saving money for the Expansion!
The 360 slim has 5 usb ports, 2 in the front 3 in the back.
#181
good for you man but its going to kill you when it comes out. who knows i might join you if 2 characters i want dont make the roster. make way for company lol
I think Pandora mode is for people that prefer to play as 1 character like SFIV,SF2 etc...
But in pandora mode u will be able to combo chains like you would with 2 characters when doing tag combos, and have as much health as 2 characters.
Im assuming u will be able to use pandora before ur partners health go down?
anybody notice why Heihachi not glowing bluish like the rest of the cast when he activated the pandora mode ? .. instead his skin just turned red
Hey guys there's another part to pandora mode that wasn't added in this build.
Read this.
PANDORA WILL KILL YOU IF YOU DON'T KILL YOUR OPPONENT:
Yeah, DLC confirmed ...
- Roger on sign
- Honda on Truck
- Juni / Juli on poster
- Capoeira characters because the leaked list doesn't have one and that's retarded.
- A Capcom Boxer because the leaked list doesn't have one and it should because Steve isn't the only boxer that's popular.
Does this confirm characters? No. But since this game should have either an expansion (not a bad thing guys, settle down) or DLC, we should see holes like Sumo and Capoeira filled in eventually.
Okay, I actually had a few tears of excitement well up in my eyes while watching this trailer, and the music pretty much helped. lol
I'm hoping for UMVC3 to be tons more fun for me than MVC3 was and those trailers were nice and all, but...
Seeing Zangief and Rolento in this SFxT trailer actually got me "hyped" the way Sakura's stage and theme music did for me when I first got my import of "Street Fighter Zero 2" and popped it into my PS1. :)
Fighting games have BEEN back, but with a trailer like this, I feel like climbing to the top of the highest point of the world and shouting it through a thousand megaphones: "FIGHTING GAMES ARE BACK!!". XD
Hard to believe that any drug could beat that kind of high. :)
@drmrofficer - the leak list is fake, yeah its a nice list which the majority would like for it's selection of characters but yeah, its fake.
Lupinko has denied it and stated SFxT will have more characters than UMVC (thats 48+ or 50+ if you count dlc, whilst the list was like 40), Rolento is confirmed to be Ibuki's partner whilst on that list Sodom is rolentos whilst Makoto's is Ibuki's yadayada etc etc It's fake, get over it man
NOW THIS IS A COMPLETE GAME..F MVC3 <3 it though lol.
2 VS 2 BATTLES LETTSS GOOGOGOGOGO. Scramble mode awesome, THIS IS THE KIND OF STUFF I WANT TO SEE, SMALL STUPID STUFF OH HAHAH ITS NOT APPLYABLE IN TOURNAMENTS SHUT UP, its awesome <3 OOMGOGM TRAINING MODE WIHT 2 PLAYERS OMG
Pandora mode looks like a better version of Juri's Feng Shui Engine the way Zangief seemed to be able to link where it looks like the combo should have ended in video 2
looks like this game is coming together nicely now im actually curious to see what else ono has in store for us but until jin is comfirmed and has his own cinetimatic trailer this game after friday if jins not here this game means nothing to me
@197 Its been talked about as a comeback mechanic on all forums and comments on srk and unity, dont gimmie this crap about eventscrubs.
eventhubs members are unity and srk members get a grip of your hater-aid intake
http://www.capcom-unity.com/street_fi... just cause you lock threads and compare it to xfactor on other threads doesnt mean you arent talking about comback mechanics stay 3 d3v
Damn I knew Heihachi was evil and cruel, but the way he tossed Kuma aside after sacrificing him was unexpected for me. Kuma's like the only thing he loves beside himself. Pandora mode does look awesome and it sounds like it would be a very high risk/high reward option. glad it's not a comeback feature and requires a little more thought and skill to use it
it may have comeback potential but i cant see it being anywhere near as bad as x factor, i bet the power you get from it depends on how much health the scarified character had left. Plus i would like it if it could only be used once per game as opposed to once per round, sf4 should have made ultras that way especially since u get very quickly bored of seeing the same ultra 3 times in one bloody match, iv'e never been more bored of a single animation as i have balrogs ultra 1
It's strange how most of Street fighter's charge characters haven't been included yet. I know Guile and Chun Li is there, but that's it. We're still missing; Blanka, Bison, Vega, Honda and Balrog. I wonder if it's due to difficulties with the tagging feature and opponents being either side. I hope those guys are included.
@LordJim
Got reading comprehension? My point was on the nature of the move. Why would you sacrifice your partner in a tag team game? I guess keeping yourself alive is out the question, right? No matter how you try to toss it, Pandora mode is to keep you alive. Since sacrificing your partner is such a big deal in a tag team game, you obviously get some perks.
Also, Kaio-ken is a mode just as is Pandora. If you want to argue something comparable to a Dragon Punch, don't compare it to a mode, compare it to another move in the universe.
Of course sacrificing your partner is a HIGH risk/reward scenario, he the hell could it not be in a tag team based game? Initially, once one of your characters got beat, the game was over. Now there's a mode to keep you alive, which goes against the nature of how the game was first intended to end. It will alter the flow of the match and give the losing player leverage, 'nuff said.
Go check out any other forum, I'm sure "scrubs" over there will realize the same. ;)
Anyways, this is looking amazing. 2v2 ONLINE....FINALLY. I shall relive the tekken tag days...online. online training mode! check. The ability to bring back old characters from capcom and Namco...check. Great gameplay and insane posibilities...check. Capcom catering to pros as well as scrubs...check. looking good looking good. And fun which is something I miss in the Fighting game community. I am all about 2v2 and scramble...woo hoo! only thing left is a little Tekken/SF campaign and character customization would be overkill but why not ask for the best. It seems they are going all out in this game
Just hoping karin or r.mika makes it, either 1 of those two would be awesome. They deserve to come back just as much as rolento.
LETS GO!!!
