- Street Fighter x Tekken Reveals: Rolento, Zangief, Heihachi, Lili (Everyone probably knows this already). Demo of new build on show floor.
- Street Fighter x Tekken announced for PC and as a Wii U launch window title. 360/PC versions will have an exclusive character (like Cole is for PS3/Vita), as will the Wii U version. The characters themselves will not be specified.
- SSF4AE 2012 officially named Super Street Fighter IV Upper (at least in Japan). Adds Hugo and Poison and will still be free for owners of SSF4AE. Demo of new build on show floor, includes Hugo and Poison. Announcement that this is definitely the final version of SF4, as the team is going to start a new project shortly.
- UMvC3: Rest of new characters get reveal trailers. Demo build with every character on show floor.
- Mega Man Legends 3: Announcement that due to fan feedback, development will restart in November.
- Mega Man 6, 7, X2, X3 and Mega Man 64 announced for Wii Virtual Console. Mega Man 2 and 3 (GB), as well as Mega Man 1, 2 and 3 (NES) announced for 3DS Virtual Console.
- Mega Man 8, Mega Man Legends, Mega Man Legends 2 and The Misadventures of Tron Bonne announced for PSone Classics.
- Vampire Savior: Online Edition announced for PSN. HD remastering ala 3SO with GGPO online. Demo on show floor.
- Marvel vs Capcom Collection announced for PSN. Includes X-Men VS Street Fighter, Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter and Marvel vs Capcom. No remastering, but will include GGPO online play. No demo.
- Trailers, release dates and demos of most every game you already know about (DMC, MH, RE, etc)
Some dark alter egos look expected to be a new mechanic, thought it was weird since Bob went all dark mode in that teaser video.

the new/tekken models look really good, i almost wish they would redo the old sf4 models.
i was hoping they would re-do chun li,I think when they were making super, they got more familiar with their designs on the engine, the 3s characters looked genuine to their counterpart,i just feel like Chun was done so early and they screwed up...lol same with Rose, look at that Chin...

1.) I like this Heihachi. I've seen him in a fundoshi, so by all means, make him as emoteable as humanly possible. He's a joke to me already. He headbutted a bullet. He has his awesome points cast in gold and awesomeness.
2.) Those rumors are infinitely too good to be true. Then again, the weekend isn't here and I am so f'n hype. Let's do this, Tokyo!
What exactly is tag-partner-ing? You mean CPU opponents are predetermined? Oh well, i kinda wished arcade mode would have them randomed for variety's sake.

The official tag partners are pre determined (e.g. Ryu&Ken, Hugo&Poison, Heihachi&Kuma etc) for promotional and story purposes. Now I haven't read anywhere that says in arcade mode the CPU will stick to those partners or not. I'm going to assume it will but I guess we'll have to wait and see.

I hope this means JACKSH*T, and it might mean that the characters that people really want in may not make it in this version of SFxT (cause we all know there will be a chocolate version of SFxT). I feeling a tad bit worried that the rich girl KARIN, ain't gonna make it. Especially since Ono said she and Sakura are in Summer school - Either they aren't in the game or he'll announce them later.
ALSO Rufus MIGHT be Zangiefs partner AND Guy/Cody in the wrestling trailer. So technically thats no more spaces for SF if the 6 spaces are any indication.

Anybody noticed shadow/evil versions of fighters added in the background of official artwork? Also in the last trailer Bob when throwing plates was in some kind of evil form (I know it maybe for joke purpose only).
From character descriptions one can gather that whole plot will revolve around Pandora's Box. I believe its powers are somehow connected with the second super bar and we'll see some kind of power up mechanic like x-factor...
If Alisa isn't in the game, the my main team is going to be Ibuki & Lili/Chun-Li (while trying out Steve). Alisa is my main character in Tekken 6, but I also use Lars, Steve and Lili, while Ibuki, followed by Chun-Li and some other characters, is my main character in SSF4.
Makes sense that Lili is in the game btw. Her style is in fact Street Fighting.

I'm thinking that once Asuka is teamed up with Lili, that would leave 2 Tekken slots left to fill (according to the official site). I cant imagine they would leave out a team of Law and Paul, and I cant imagine they would allow Jin to be left out?
Bison must be in this game. They need him for story purposes.
OK, so according to Lupinko's tweet. SFXTekken has more character slots than Marvel.

I'm taking it with a grain of salt. I'd sure as hell want more characters in this game but I'm sensing sadly the inevitable CHOCOLATE SFXT in the coming future. So we might have to wait a little longer if some of our anticipated characters don't make it this round.
Guess we'll have to wait and see. Good thing new season of Big Bang Theory is coming soon to keep me distracted. BAZINGA!

I agree about the similarities they have, but since Jin's Tekken popularity is in line with Ryu/Guile/Gief, I would be amazed if he is left out.

Valid point, to be fair, I guess none of us really know until its finalised. I personally would love to see Capcom and Namco each submit a unique character each, but im probably dreaming.

Why yes it does. Lili's partner was announced yet, and neither was Zangiefs (officially). There will probably be more characters announced at the show, but it will probably be Rufus who we already know is Gief's partner. Rolento on the other hand is Ibukis. Unless you think they'd go randomly out of order for some reason? Or Gief is actually supposed to be with Ibuki? In order for the list to be right, they'd have to simultaneously announce Sodom, Mika, and Makoto, which aint gonna happen.

I also love Heiachi's cameo. As for the Tekken side, I'm split: gameplaywise I want Bruce because I'm good with him, and it would be cool to see him team up with Sagat.
But I'm more excited to see Sergei Dragunov or Bryan Fury vs Rolento; and Eddie Gordo or Christie vs Elena.

Kazuya is more similar to Heihachi than he is to Jin. Jin really plays nothing like them. Even his electrics are different. Also, LOL at reusing M.Bison's head for Rolento.
I don't understand something... You guys been asking for Rolento since the announcement of SSF4, and now that he's here nobody's making a big deal out of it. At least the character is decent cool. R.Mika and Karin on the other hand... Man there are so many uncool characters in the SF universe that's insane haha!

The "dark versions" of the characters don't bother me, but this cheesy text that is now in the pictures does.
Also, Rolento's official tag partner being Ibuki makes no sense. Why would they team up? I know Ibuki was boy crazy in her storylines, but why would she team up with Rolento? Is Chris Hanson going to appear in their ending or what?

Ibuki's being forced by her clan leaders to accompany Rolento as he takes his operation into Antarctica to actually destroy this "Pandora's Box," in order to prove his gang's might. I'm guessing Ibuki's clan leaders would like to make sure that happens.

Yup it's in my opinion of course, that was not my point anyway. It's just that ppl actively ask for characters and then when they're finally revealed, I find it lame if there's not a big reaction. And I find it extra lame if the character is kinda wack (in my opinion) like Phoenix Wright, Frank West, R.Mika to name a few.
Also, I don't think R.Mika and Karin are fighting game icons.
They did a good job with the poster art, im sure the FMV is done well too, but the in game model of Heichachi is horrible. Ono needs to tell his 3D modeler to go back to the drawing board asap. I don't care if it's a rivalry, they need to give Heihachi the respect he deserves. Work on Kuma too while they are at it.
My thoughts (for what little they're worth):
- Heihachi looks like Wily, lol. I know that's been said a million times but it bears repeating.
- I don't see how Jin doesn't get in.
- Asuka practically HAS to be in.
- Rolento/Ibuki team up doesn't seem too random to me. After playing KOF for so long, you get used to odd characters teaming up for the strangest of reasons. XI's Anti-Kyokugen team comes to mind. Such a weird-ass team...
- I've got a good feeling that Bison/Juri will be a team, although I worry for Juri's chances to make it in. (Capcom's side is seriously lacking an "evil girl" though...)
- I'm still holding out hope for Karin, but it's looking much less likely these days. Ah well...
I'm probably going to main Lili and pair her with any number of characters (Julia, Poison, Hugo, Ken, Cammy, Raven... damn, too many characters I want to play already!). If Karin and/or Juri makes it, I'll pair Lili with them.
Hopefully they actually hold to the idea of DLC this go-round. This game could be awesome for years to come if they just continually add characters - hell of a lot to choose from on either side.

I find it rather unique and great that they bring fighters like that out from dust Jin(MvC),Frank, Phoenix Wright, and now,Poisons joining the fray! It makes the game seem full of variety and not full of Clones.
