Topanga TV has recently tweeted that a concept match between MadCatz|Daigo Umehara and Totalheads|Poongko has been approved between the two players.
Wonder if Daigo will stick to Yun or use Akuma for this set.
i hope he will go back to ruy,but fagcom should return ryu to vanilla state,now ryu is not better than dan.
if this follows the same format as the daigo Fchamp concept match where both players fight FT10 with the characters that they are extremely proficient at then im guessing well see a Ryu vs Seth and maybe a Yun vs Seth. im also quite curious on what other characters poongko might bring to the table seeing as hes known to play multiple characters on a high level.
as much as i am exited about this i can already feel the mindnumbing retardation fanboys will spew somehow completely missing the point of a concept match (that is to compare how characters fare against each other when played by two high level players with a decent understanding of the matchup instead of the players themselves actually making it personal somehow)
Lol, Ryu's main problem is that everyone has a counter gameplan for the character. He really isn't that bad at all right now...
Now, at the very top elite level - yeah, you might have an argument.

read what #11 just posted. they are on the same level. Evo Poongko won...A set to 30, Daigo won 22-8...so watching them play now, is awesome right before AE2012 comes out.

It will be interesting to see how Daigo plays in this match. He would roughly have 5 to 6 days of preparation time. I'm looking forward to seeing he responds to Poonkyo's mighty Seth.
