Tokido's fight with StinkyCat3's Ryu (starting around 15:15) was very entertaining.
We should all upload streams from offcast teamspooky levelup
Topanga? Isn't that the name of Cory's girl friend from Boy Meets World?
The Japanese have a very different perspective in general. Their intent is always to work hard. They study math and science year round and that discipline seeps into whatever else they do. American players like to bitch, smear chocolate cake over their face, and whine about a character because they suck.
Way to discredit the good american players, #13. Tell me, are you usually that biased? Your comment is the traditional "Hurr Japanese good, America bad and the individual player doesn't matter because skill is determined by nationality durr" nonsense.
If you were trolling, congrats, I fell for it.
@13
i think that the US level has never been so high since super,with streams announcers ,comment,website like eventhubs with framedata and player sharing tips.its true that japan is way over even though evo contained a lot of surprise.i think you can differenciate 3 kinds of players in the us:
-Grand Masters:Justin Wong,Marn,Latif,Valle
-Masters:gootecks,PR Balrog,Arthuro sanchez,Mike ross.
-Us online scrubs AKA shoryu artist .
but the main problem is that this faggy game(MVC3) killed the AE US scene and im not sure but the best Evo us player this year were only AE players.the most noticeable case being justin wong (yeah!i will smoke them in MVC3 and AE at the same time......Result:lost in both competition).
On the other we have europe:honestly except france and uk i havent seen any tougeki viable player.
Alioune and Ryan hart being the best players in europe.
the rest just dont cut it(maybe a french feilong player).
Anyway we know kazunoku is a genius player,and believe if he were to attend us tourney he might actually overtop umehara's yun
@fivec
lol at your face,who made fun of the entire french community 2 years ago?
who taunted in tougeki on of the best rufus after a stun?
who can change several times his main and still being competitive?
i agree that lately his not but a shadow of himself,but his capacity to adapt and evolve is a level of japanese GM,for those who are only addictif to us and recent jap streams,they should watch all vanilla and super era tourneys ,all japs were hugely impressed by marn and justin.
and for gootecks,his marketing strategia pays,now he's no more than announcer ,and we will give him credit when he will start to beat those scruby guys on live .
balrog to feilong is a good choice,but can he really score?
I can never get bored of watching Tokido play his Akuma. The guy's execution is almost perfect. He missed like only two combos the entire 30 minutes he played.
Also, awesome how he saw abel's roll and punished with demon.
If only random online player over here would play that great O_o
