Ov3rheadGreg has uploaded some Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edtion replays of some ranked matched between Japanese top players. Hit the jump to see more.

man i would have so raged after that yun comeback in the 2nd round, it just seems so bull that he can combo into super, then into ultra and then juggle with palm and shoulder, what the hell.

that Thawk was not to impressive. Used pokes wayyyy to much need to harness his strength. TH is about set ups and walking 720s.

Yeah one of the best Hawks is just going to walk up and 720 and Tokido is just going to take it. He only got hit with ultra 1 because he didn't respect it in the first round, got thrown the second time because it was quite ambiguous if the jumping short would hit and last one he failed at his punish. I'm pretty sure most dash up command grabs would be poked out of or only hit once before he adapts. Hawk has good footsies which is why KojiKOG plays him the way he does. This isn't low level play where jump in ultras hit 99% of the time.

@GW: I don't know what game you're playing. Regardless of skill level, predicting that a grappler wants to get his grab ultra on you is pretty obvious, especially when you're up against the likes of Guile/Chun-Li/Dhalsim/Ryu. =P It isn't even guaranteed to work on someone who just has a bit of knowledge on how to play.

If you played a character as bad as T. Hawk...you'd be mashing too.

Mago pieced that Balrog out. xD You'd never think a character like Balrog would get rushed the hell down. =P

wow, people that say Kog's Hawk isn't impressive need to actually play him. He is currently the top ranked Hawk in AE for one he regularly slaps around players like Amiyu, wao, Haitani with Hawk. 1 match = sucky Hawk. Besides he won, vs Tokido no less.

Forget the TH vs. Yang video, the Mago vs. Balrog video is the one people need to be paying attention too. Warms my heart to see Fei-Long getting those Rekkas nerfed.

I didnt say that mashing was bad or anything, I just said it was unexpected hence the next few rounds Tokido barely got grabbed
