There's also a video showing some Mortal Kombat 9 stuff after the jump.

Just like on my keyboard when i play on PC . Been playing on my keyboard for years . Especialy for charge character . You can always hold back with 1 finger(So you're perma charging)
The only thing that suck on keyboard it's doing High jump and 720. Also if you play too much it's frigging hurt bad .. It's not really comfortable like a pad or a stick.
Anyone else think this is stupid?
Why would you do away with the stick?
I stand by my comments thank you. Making it easier eh, why not just map a load of the buttons to the move itself like they do on the 3ds version of the game then? i.e. 1 button macros for a 720 if you want things that much easier.
Its a pointless gimmick, the best players in the world can pull off moves on a stick with ease. Just practice and you wouldnt need anything like this.
Thge shortcuts in sf4 not easy enough for some people then?
@gtfopanda But didn't Vangief do his standing 720 ultra in a tournament using a controller?
@Sakura -
It’s common for people to react that way to any new piece of tech.
1st PCs would never be any good. They’re too expensive, too hard to use, too slow, blah, blah, blah…
Then cell phones will always suck. They sound like crap, too big, calls always drop, blah, blah, blah…
Now ebook readers will never be as good as books. They’re too hard to read, don’t feel like a book, too fragile, blah, blah, blah…
But (I think) when people get used to the idea it’ll become normal. As new ppl become fighting game players, they won’t come with the same old ideas about ‘how it’s supposed to be’. This type of controller will become as common as sticks and pads.
@ acku - I've got 1 too.
But I've only had it for a week and only got to play 4 times.
You have any tips for using charge chars?
4 me, the hardest part is learning to plink everything. Plus I still mixup up and down.
I went online, got bodied, and lost a ton of points. But I expected that, so it doesn't matter. I'll get 'em back when I'm used to the controller.
I don't get why some people are so confused by this product's existence.
It's an alternate choice to the traditional stick and provides just as much precision and accuracy.
Some people prefer this to an arcade stick. That's why it can exist. What's so hard to understand?
the complaints you're making are what pad players say about stick. why should I learn something new?
I thinks it's nice coz i'm a keyboard fighter and been using keyboard for years and i'm actually comfortable in it, i wish they make it a new gaming tool like arc stick and game pad.^^
@16 Yeah, im worried about this product. This allows for duel blocking so it's hard to cross them up because they are holding back and forward at the same time.
It takes away from the commitment of pressing that direction. Of course I never used it so I don't know how effective it is but I heard stories.
Why are so many people complaining? I wouldn't use it, but I'm glad it exists. I'm sure plenty of you weren't using an arcade stick 3 years ago, whether you'll admit it or not. That being said ... @T_W_D No one EVER was like "forget that cellphone, my beeper is better" saying this is the next pc/cellphone/ipad is just as silly. It is however another option and it if brings some keyboard users back to the scene, or is easier for someone else, I'm all for it.
@ aegis_refractory
You misunderstood the meaning of my post.
I gave examples of successful tech produces (we all use or will use) that people complained about when they were introduced.
I don't think a nitch product in a nitch market will be the next PC.
That's just 'silly'.
