Super Street Fighter 4 AE: Meaty overhead combos, Abel mixups & Dudley combos

Always willing to learn more when it comes to Abel. And here I thought I had him down all the way after ranking him up to Rank B+ in Super and B in AE. Thanks!

There is actually Meaty Attacks in SF4?

Of course there are meaties; however; they are much less powerful than they were in previous games because shoryu's are ridiculously good and the reversal window is huge.

Why do you submit the Dudley combo video that has a bunch of impractical setups/combos? I've submitted a much better one with actual useful combos rather than excessively situational or flashy ones. Derp.

I mean at least put one on the site that can help improve somebody's game.

Oh yay, 10+ frame startup overheads, which need to hit meaty, counter hit and you gotta be standing right next to them. I love the practicality.

I follow a game named unstoppableDJ, he's a monstrous DJ player so follow him if you want to watch a good Dudley on PSN. Has 5000+PP.

I do use Dudley/Zangief/Guile, sadly I haven't ranked up because I'm busy with dev work.

arn't most of the combo's "counter hit" so there is more hit stun....?

I play Abel, and everything is top-notch, but I have to disagree with the St.Mp after a meaty overhead, Cr.mp is a better frame trap imo and combos into COD for another combo instead of having to FADC my St.mp into another 50/50, I have a few matches that proves that this is more effective than St.mp, if anyone wishes to correct me, feel free, just a little input from an abel player.. @stercan- This is a follow-up to a meaty overhead when you land a counter hit, as far as I know, nothing links after Abel's overhead unless it's a counterhit, but correct me if I'm wrong.

People are getting too picky about what's posted - knowing these setups exist is a good thing. It's not like they're useless - this is the small little tidbits of info that are situational but could really open your mind up to new things (i.e. realizing meaties are useable in the game).
And people are complaining how they have to be CH setups but sim, adon, makoto, ryu, dudley, and yun all have ones that don't require a CH.
