#16 Dawg so far that wish list is pretty accurate. Hey I'm all for the idea of the possibility of Alex being in the game but seeing Gief here my hopes are pretty much dashed and now I'm believing in that list. Oh well there is always Tekken X Street Fighter for Alex.....

@50: lol, some of these "grappers" are more unique compared to one another than for example, Elena is compared to Ryu. Just because some of their moves includes a grab doesn't mean they're all the same. That's like saying "there's too many fireball characters in SSFIV".

@74: I LOVE Sodom (man, that will be misinterpreted -.-), you can't judge him based on how he appears in a non-canon movie. His moves are not boring, they are fun and unique, but also with a lot of room for improvement. Characterwise, he's quite hilarious imo.

The list just had a bunch of characters with high chances of getting in. The only one who might be an exception to that is Rolento, and even then Ono said flat out they wanna use characters that they haven't used in a while. that leaked list was said to have originated from lupinko who than told somebody on unity, who than made a chart, who than turned around and said it wasnt from lupinko and that it was just a wish list.(my guess somebody said to much) now the strange part is lupinko (as far i know if you can prove me wrong plz do) has neither confirmed or denied that leaked list, which is strange because lupinko came out immediately to deconfirm a leak list last year,where trolls were using his name to make a fake leak list, so this could mean its real or it could not. so unless liupinko comes out and says he had no involvement in that list, there is realy nothing to stop people from thinking otherwise.
I don't get why people want to doubt the wishlist, it's stacked with a large amount of good characters. Whatever it's the same deal with the MVC3 leak. Some people actually doubted it up until there was no one left to be revealed but Hsien-ko and Sentinel, talk about morons. I bet the same people determined to prove the list wrong are the same meat heads that doubted Lupinko.

Every character on the list from who ever it may be from, has been matched with their partner from Ryu & Ken to Yoshimitsu & Raven. Yeah it maybe a coincidence that it matches but that dosen't change the fact that so far it's been right, Now it could change & it could not will just have to see.

How is Zangief NOT an obvious pick? It's F'ing Zangief, Street Fighter's first grappler. More often than not, he's one of the characters Capcom likes to throw into their fighting games.
And Rolento was an obvious pick because him and Karin are the two most requested Alpha characters.
Don't even lie and pretend you didn't see all the people asking for him on here, SRK, Unity, and a ton of other places when Super SF4 was first announced. He's a fun character that a lot of people liked in the Alpha series and in CvS2.
And when both Ono and Seth said that SFxT will feature certain characters that did not make it into any of the other recent fighting games Capcom has put out, it's not a stretch by any means to assume that Rolento would be in this game.
I don't care what anybody sais....that damn list is too correct not to be real. Even if all of it isn't 100%, its still over 50% correct. It even shows the partners correctly. People can deny it all they want but the fact is there is evidence so there is not much denying they can do!
I for one am pleased with the leaked list, and I hope it's true. Only wish I could add Miguel, Balrog, and Vega to it though.

Like I said, the list has predicted Heihachi, Rolento, and Zangief. That's it. Every other character on the list we knew about before it was shown, either through VERY obvious hints in trailers, or just due to them already being revealed.
Anyone can make a prediction list that's actually reasonable and get atleast 3 characters right.
The list is yet to be confirmed, but i think it is fake. It is not from a legit source, its been proven to be a fanmade request.
Gief is an easy guess, world warrior plus the most popular grappler in sf history. Rolento and Karin are a bit more odd guesses but as everyone has stated, seth and ono both confirmed they wanted non-sf4 chars, but then who else would be suspected but the more popular non sf4 chars. Sure poison is a little more obscure but the list was obviously "leaked" after poison and dhalsims reveals, after cody and guy trailer (which is why they're added in the list). That's half of the work done then insert random but logical guess's.
Saying that i do suspect r.mika to team with gief as Gief is mika's idol plus ono's fave.

#13 Rolento is not ibuki partner, they aren't doing the teasers in partner order anymore it looks like but if you look closely at these 2 teasers it looks like they are hinting 2 characters for Both Tekken and Street Fighter. That list is spot on, for those who say no its not is in denial.

@129 After I saw Ibuki and Raven trailer someone sent me a link to the list for the first time and when I saw how each partner was matched up correctly to the new trailers that were revealed there is no way some way can coincidentally do that spot on. So I totally agree with the list.
Raven, Kuma, Ibuki, and Hugo, were ALL shown in character art for previous characters that were revealed before the list. And they were obvious. Just like all of the other artwork teases. We've known about Lili since the second cinematic trailer where you could clearly see her boots.
So again, the list has only predicted three characters: Heihachi, Rolento, and Zangief.

@135 No, im not stating any of that. IF everyone, and a big if everyone, is confirmed and in the game then its real and i'll eat my hat. I'm saying look at the list, Half of the people on the list were already confirmed, that leaves the others. They are just very logical guesses.
Raven is connected to Yoshi (Tekken ninja's and wasnt it T5 where they shared a plot?) so that was given. Poison is Hugo's manager, that was easy. Kuma is harada's character, he is in control of tekken so he could of dictated to ono as a must include. Ibuki, again ill give it to you is a more random one but her style/target combo's seem to fit the system.
Now let's look at the latest reveal
Gief and any other WW would be assumed due to their legacy. Heihachi is kuma's owner, plus a staple of Tekken. Rolento is again more random but as ono and seth both stated they wanted more non-sf4 chars, plus who else to add but the ones who fans want. Lili and even Asuka were very hinted before the "reveal" of this "leaked list" in that trailer so add them to that list.
Left on that list but yet to be confirmed, and why the creator assuming or wants them:
Jin and Bison must be a major part of the plot of mishima vs shadaloo, so thats easy, then add their most logical partnering, xiayou and Juri (still dont think it will be juri and rather Vega or Balrog just my opinion though but juri does make sense eitherway, plus i wouldnt be surprised if aliza is Jin's partner). Paul and law are iconic tekken chars. So are Jack and Byran. Karin and r.mika are another nonsf4 char which tehy want to add. Sakura and Sodom just added as they are the most logic choices for rolento's and Karin partners. Aliza and Lars are another random ones but i guess to have Tekken 6 chars as a team.
So after reading that, isnt it quite easy for me or you to make a "leaked list" based on logical rationing. I'll put money on it that 20% of people "leaked" dont even make the cut
Plus im not saying R.Mika is a sure thing, just that she makes sense as Gief, who is now virtually confirmed, is her idol plus Ono's favourite.

@185: Yeah, lupinko got every little detail right. This leak list is already wrong with the Ibuki and Rolento partnering, which most likely means it's wrong about Makoto and Sodom as well.
And before one of you jump me and say that the stuff that has happened lately doesn't mean they're partners... You're just wrong. If they were to make some kind of suprise reveal, making Makoto Ibuki's partner etc, that would mean they'd have to show at least 8 characters: Rolento, Sodom, Makoto, Zangief, Heihachi, Lili, Asuka, and some other Tekken character on the list. No way are they going to show that many characters, as well as new modes and mechanics (which has been confirmed for TGS, right?). Just looks highly unlikely atm. TGS will be the nail in the coffin or the ultimate proof for this list.

Yeah the list are very obvious guesses. Given half were revealed, link up their most logical partners which fit the games style. The only ones i give "lupinko" or more the random capcom-unity poster as being longshots and risky are - Lars, Eliza, Karin, Sodom, Rolento, Sakura, Juri, Ibuki, Makoto.
I'd give it more integrity if Poison (Hugo was bound after poisons inclusion) wasn't already confirmed as that would have been a huge shot in the dark.

since ono has been teasing another CGI trailer for TGS i think its obviously it going to be the chunli and cammy vs askua and lili trailer, which would reveal three characters instead of two on the tekken side, which than still leaves capcom with one more reveal which could still be makoto.

@203: It HAS been wrong, unless they have some sort of super-miracle character reveal @ TGS. Sodom is NOT in this game unless he's paired up with Rolento, and Rolento is already taken. There's no reason to doubt that Rolento is Ibuki's partner when every other reveal that has been made in this fashion was the partner of the character. There's no reason to believe anything other than the obvious, because anything else is just weak theories based in nothing.

Ono and seth have said there will be players not on sf4, this is why the alphas have been put on that list. Then the others are the logical pairing of already revealed characters "hmmm who could go with poison....hmmm....". The rest are very iconic to their titles.

if i was to create a list of people who'd i suspect to be on it i would named 80% of that list, like most people here. And if i was creating partnerships, i'd too think who are connected cannon-wise. Again when Lars, Karin, Juri, the more risky and farfetched decisions are included, ill start to believe this. But until the whole list is 100% confirmed, i stick with my opinion in laymans term

@217: Except for the initial 8 characters, every character has been revealed that way. Rolento and Ibuki's obscure connection in pocket fighter is more than enough for capcom to base a pairing on. Look at Bob and Julia. Besudes, maybe something happens between them in the SFxT story that makes their pairing more logical.

Lupinko is a scumbag. Anyone willing to leak a roster for a game before release is just pathetic. Capcom put all this effort, planning out reveals, trying to keep it exciting, and then people like Lupinko go ahead and pretty much say "f*ck all your effort". If this leak is true, then the person who leaked it is just another scumbag waste of space on the Internet. If this leak is real, then really, good for them. Hope they feel really proud of themselves spoiling the surprise for everyone else.

@240: That's because they're not teasers, they're just nods towards the character in question, similar to having the pictures of El Fuerte and E.Honda in the background of various stages. The CGI trailer merely contained quotes related to various FF characters. The Shadaloo symbol might be a legit tease though.
Thing is, by remaining sceptical, I won't be so disappointed if he's not in, and I will be even happier if he IS in, so why would I act in any other way?
Btw, the "something" I was referring to was the leak list, not the teasers. Those teasers still gives me hope in the long run, that he might appear in a future title if not in this one, as they're acknowledging his existance.

@266: Thing is, I don't believe lupinko leaked this. If I did, I wouldn't doubt it. Also, Hugo, Poison, Kuma Ibuki and Raven (And I guess Lili as well) were already shown/teased when it came out. Ibuki+Rolento is a longshot indeed, but weirder things have happened. We'll just have to wait until TGS for that one.
To back up 266 Claim:
Ibuki/Makoto makes tons more sense as would Sodom/Rolento based on,
Ibuki and Makoto relationship is Canon within Street Fighter universe. Whether friendly rivalry or not, they interact with each other constantly. Makoto is the only canon-wise character who makes sense to partner with Ibuki.
Sodom and Rolento are "brothers". They've been in the same gang, Sodom interacted with Rolento countless times within Alpha series and their stories intertwine canon-wise.
There's little to no reason why Sodom wouldn't be in unless Capcom isn't pairing through canon.
If Canon isn't the case here, then explain the other pairs such as Chun/Cammy, Abel/Guile.
Where the hell is Elena. We are waiting :( List is 100% accurate so far. Not looking good. Elena vs Christie/Eddy would be a good setup for her inclusion.

As long as the reveals are consistent with the "leak", go with it, believe in it and tell all non-believers that they're ignorant and stupid. When (or if) Vega, Balrog, Blanka or Honda shows up, deny ever believing in the list.
Because, honestly guys, that's whay you all will do anyways...
