Gamers want Toro the Cat, or Dan, in Street Fighter X Tekken

Just a bit of goofy news to throw out there, but Yoshinori Ono asked readers on Sony's PlayStation Vita community site which character they wanted to see make an appearance in Street Fighter X Tekken. And Sony's mascot, Toro the Cat, has the lead spot.

Toro currently has 300 votes, followed by Sakura in second place with 43 Alisa in third with 33 and Christie in last with 9 votes.

It's possible players were actually voting for Dan rather than Toro, as the Toro column in the poll was written as "Dan" crossed out and replaced with Toro.

The results of the poll are not binding though unless someone receives at least 500 votes or more.

this is rigged. sfxt roster is finalized and therefore can't be influenced that late by a mere meaningless poll. SHOULD any character get over 500 votes it was done by capcom and the character was allready planed and this is some sort of PR.

Final list is leaked but not the exclusive characters.
Very likely Toro was planned and Ono is just testing the reactions of the consumers.

And Dan,well,we have enough ''SF4'' characters in SFxTekken,give us some forgotten characters..

Toro is a mascot for Sony in Asia just like Mario for Nintendo and Gokiburi Chikan for 360
Of course people will vote for Toro. Girl players are also gonna vote for Toro over other girl characters.
So Ono putting Toro in the voting list in the first place is basically telling people Toro is in the game already.
Besides Christi, Sakura and Alisa are already on that leaked list anyway so why are ppl still crying.
The leaked 46-48 characters is a lot already, and they are still giving us more but the butthurt xbots are still complaining.
If u complain about exclusive characters, well forget about the xbox version w/ no characters and make the PS3 ver. w/ lots of extra characters the official one, simple as that.
Rumor is there are more exclusives besides Cole and Toro for PS3 and Vita. So xbots better start a petition fast to poop the fun for everybody else to make sure there are no more than 2.

Are u guys bitching cuz u don't get the story and continuity? (I know u r just buttsore)
But if so, how hard is it to understand that this is a festival game where worlds collide and the point is to make characters that would never see in the same game fight each other? Story would just be Sony characters snuck in when worlds collided, simple as that.

Some people hate Tekken and said SFxTK is a bad idea at first cuz "they don't belong..." Heck Poison Guy Cody Hugo were all Final Fight characters before they got put into a SF game.

If companies only make fighting games to cater exclusively to your little dim-witted head the community would only get smaller as only the old players will return and there'll be barely any new blood. Cuz to the non fighting game crowd they would just see the same ol characters for 15 f@cking years.

Now once in a while u bring some known names to get the fans of other series to draw attention to your own franchise (which is the business idea to make SFxTK in the first place), more ppl will now have a chance to be interested to even touch your game.

Capcom is successful because they are smart and talented people, not a bunch of dense heads like you. It's also why they stay the top, and you stay the low life that you are.

Sick! I'm into the bleed into other games thing. Right now it's almost Street Fighter x Tekken x Final Fight, IF they have a Soul Caliber Yoshimitsu costume, I'd be SO down!

The two cats have been revealed now, I mean I would have preferred Gon just cause it's a tiny bit more related. If I got TIGER JACKSON or UNKNOWN It'd make my day!
