Ryu's cr. MK hitbox is some bulls. That matchup didn't change at all from SSF4.
Valle's zoning is top notch though, he plays a very solid defensive/punish style. Unfortunately, he met the REAL rushdown king.

In winner's finals Chen mentions that Sakura's stage is the shortest...? Is that true? Are some of the stages actually shorter?

I always thought they were all the same length and the stages were just cosmetic.

Actually i too heard that Sakuras Stage is the shortest, thats why Mago always chooses it. I dont know who mentioned it i think it was at Shadowloo Showdown.

@9 He's in the US on a student visa. To get his passport to go to Japan, he needs to go back to Saudi Arabia (I think that's where he's from) and go through a process that can take a few weeks, so it's not really possible for him to go to SBO. Unfortunate, but I feel like he single-handedly carried his team through that qualifier

@#1: Ryu doesn't suck he is one of the best characters in the game. Can still combo into full ultra in the most ways possible, Fast walking speed, most powerful linking normals in the game arguably! Anyone who says Ryu is weak don't know anything.

Good job just making up your own facts. I guess that works for you in your make believe world.

Let's see:

Ryu does not have a fast walking speed. He is tied for 16 in the game. Characters like Akuma, Bison, Vega, Cammy, etc... they have fast walking speed.

Ryu does not have the most powerful links in the game. His damage output is good, but not the best.

I guess according to you, Daigo doesn't know anything. He thinks that Ryu has losing matchups to about half the cast in AE. Sorry, but i am going to take the statements of the guy who won EVO with Ryu, over you -> the guy who thinks ryu is top tier.

@Hitstick: Nah Ryu is def. not top anymore but he's still extremely solid IMO. Still does good DMG, a 3 frame reversal, good fireball, still has good normals/frametraps, useful ultra etc. I wouldnt say the things you named break a character tho @NerfGuile.

But look at Dieminion, he just beat everyone and is going to SBO lol. With Guile who ''sucks'' as well now.
