Some random person listing a voice actor for Megaman on IMDB (which anyone can edit) and two actual voice actors for the game talking about another voice actor doing Blanka's voice are two very different things.
That being said, it depends on how you interpreted their comments. It could just be that they were referring to his past work as Blanka for SF4 and not necessarily for SFxT, but it can go either way.
It's an ambiguous comment for sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if he is in fact in the game. Ono wouldn't let the devs leave out his favorite and miss the chance to have his Blanka vs Harada's Kuma, would he?

Anyways, I would welcome Blanka to any fighting game. In all three iterations of SF-IV, he has been very fun to play/watch. Blanka has never been a character that was OP or broken in any of the SF4 games, and I can't think of a single character that did not stand a chance against Blanka

THose characters u listed are sf legends. Designs that have stood the test of time and have been appearing in games for 20 years. Thats why they havent been able to replace them and thats why the fans will always look for them.

This whole Dan died thing. I've seen trailer, but he isn't seriously dead is he? Sounds like Ono just trolling to me. I doubt they would seriously kill off Dan.
(@46, unfortunately, they said pretty early that Dan was dead in the SFxTverse, and haven't retracted it. That sucks in itself, but makes me wonder if Haggar is dead, too(He got KO'ed by Tekken peeps)
PS: I'm scared, if Capcom can dismiss Dan as "dead" that easily, SF5 may be a Dan-less affair!)

Well, im no fan of blanka, but him being in isnt hurtin me at all. guiles still in, and asuka was in the trailer. i want more official reveals!

I'm sticking to the leaked list. It's been right so far and since the person that allegedly provided us with that list is the infamous Lupinko I don't see why it shouldn't be legit. Didn't he provide us with the SSF4 characters as well as the release of UMvC3? If it's him, I still believe in a Blanka-less SFxT...
(hmmm....if Blanka is in, shouldn't he have a 'partner' according to SFxT character "rules"? And since Dan is *sniff* dead....I'm not sure who he'd partner with IF he was in...)

Hes not a character with alot of enemies so u have alot of options. Easiest choices would be zangief(alpha 3 rival) or sakura(team avenage dan).

Also I did'nt need this to know Blanka is gonna be in. Remember Ono carries Blanka with him all the time and Harada carries that Bear. Kuma is already confirmed for SFxT, there is no reason why Blanka should not.

that leak list sucks. If eventhubs posted it it up on like they did with the ssf4 leaks i would give it more crediblity but it hasnt so i ignore it.

Did I like it when Frank West(and to a lesser extent, Mega Man) wasn't on MVC3's leak list and Sentinel was? No, but it was real, and Frank wasn't in MVC3, T-T)
The ssf4 leak was posted here and there was alot of backing for this "anonymous" source. Not only that, specific details where in there. Umvc3 came RIGHT from capcom, but these sfxtekken leaks are just random lists that come from some random forums. I remember the first leak list didnt have dhalsim or sagat, its just a wish list.
Yeah, well I fully understand that there's very probable that the leaked list isn't legit, but on the other hand, I see no reason whatsoever to NOT think it's legit.
I mean, I remember when the rumor about Ultimate MvC3 started and people calling "believers" idiots...I'm only saying that it can be stupid completely ignore the list. The leaked list have Rolento, hasn't it? I mean that's pretty good far-fetched guess for a fake list IMO...
So I will believe in the list until Capcom prove otherwise. What you guys think or believe is up to you.
I don't see why Rolento would be a far-fetched guess. People have been wanting him back in action since Super SF4 was announced. Same goes for Karin.
And when BOTH Ono and Seth said early on that SFxT would feature characters NOT in other recent games they've put out, it's not much of a stretch for people to expect those characters to be in the game.
@chickenwings - Your opinion on the list doesn't matter. What matters is that the list already guessed spot on on 6 characters. Heiachi even comes after the last 4 reveals on the list, and now his trailer is out. Impossible do get more accurate than that.
Blanka is a classic SF character. Of course he will be in imo.
I know sf4 had a huge number of characters.. but is anyone getting the feeling that Capcom is being lazy? Most of the characters announced for this game were in sf4 so making them shouldn't be very hard. There is still a lot of 3s and alpha characters that need love too :( Give us Q, Oro, Mika.. you know characters that have been mia for a decade. I like Hugo and poison though ill give them that :)
(3S was worst SF game, don't expect more than 2-3 chars per new game to translate until they bring the SFIII series true redemption...)
Now... this is what I think happened: They aren't confirming that Blanka himself is in, just that Blanka's voice actor is. It's possible that Blanka's voice actor is... I don't know, voice Kuma or something like that.

theres a new leak list every week. ANd seriously, everyone knows heiachi was gonna be in(just like yoshimitsu). Im not trying to deconfirm anything, im just saying people shouldnt treat it like gospel.
Jaffe is the director, so it's possible they meant he wore out his voice in the process of directing; as they say in the video, he does everything they do along with them. However, it is certainly not impossible Blanka has made it in.
I don't like the idea that Ryu, Ken, Guile, Blanka, Chun-Li, and Dhalsim would make it in but not Honda or Zangief. I've always been a fan of the wrestlers from the World Warrior cast.
The thing people should understand about that leaked list is the fact that it seems legit because pretty much everybody knew those characters were gonna make it.
I hope for it to be legit though, that cast looks great. And there would be no Blanka.

Also, 3rd Strike's cast isn't anywhere near as boring as the shoto plague or the boring turtle charge characters. They might not be the best, but at least they're original. I'd rather be fighting against the 3rd strike cast any day than what I have to deal with.
(SFIII was too unique and weird - that was the problem. If Capcom didn't listen to the fans(but they did!), Ryu wouldn't even be in it.
And that was it's downfall. Well, combined with a couple other things, but I digress.)

If thats the case what about the tekken characters? they wont be used, what about poison? hugo? nope. They will use nothing but ryu/ken and just like sf4, the biggest difference is now instead of alternating they will be on the same team.
Throughout the time i spent sf4 u see most of the ww's being used online with blanka being one of them. U just mad.

people complain about people who use ryu and ken and spam shoryu all day? funny because last time i checked ALOT of blanka players mash elertricity and just completly abuse horizontal ball. thats boring. at least with shotos you know just what to expect and exactly how to counter them. i mean which characters have a definite fair chance against blanka aside from characters good at zoning or that are just completely overwhelming?
Poor Design and dull combos and specials. Hell I'd rather fight a guile or sim player least you know what exactly they wanna do (and i really hate sim). its not even just that hes annoying its just that he style of figting doesnt seem to fit in like everyone elses.

actually there is probably only two things i liked about blanka and they are his stage on SF 2 and his theme on street fighter 2 (Specifically the SNES version of world warrior considering segas ported music was worse In my "opinion")

I don't understand how the person was correct for the past two games when it comes to the leak list and people still deny its credibility. I say the list is real and Blanka won't be in the game and just because the voice actor is in it doesnt mean Blanka is, they are voice impersonators which means they can impersonate any voice besides the voice they originally started with. So expect Makoto, Heihachi, Rolento, and another Tekken Character to be revealed at TGS later this month.

Well wasn't the whole point of your post that the person was "correct for the past two games"? The person hasn't, because that was a different guy. The person who made the list claimed to be lupinko, so the fact that it isn't should probably make you question its accuracy. And I sure didn't see Blanka on that list, so it apparently isn't on point.
