Capcom released the official cover art for Street Fighter X Tekken on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this morning. What do you think? Leave a comment below with your opinions on how it turned out.

Nice. You don't need to show the whole cast of a crossover game for the cover. Just because the game is a mishmash doesn't mean the cover should ignore good, eye-catching design. And it isn't a slight against [whatever character you prefer] if they didn't make the cover.

@5 Might be because one is the posterboy of the Street Fighter series and the other is the first female of fighting games and both are still two of the most iconic video game characters in history and Capcom would be committing a marketing sin for not using them, akin to Nintendo not using Mario for Smash Bros. advertising and gameplay. I don't like either that much, but facts are facts.

All the people who see character's in the water splashes should check, I'm sure they'd find all the characters here. That looks like Batman close to Nina's breast, and I'm sure someone else will be discovered >_> lol

Ryu and Chun-Li are SF poster characters, Ryu is also a Capcom mascot and isn't Chun-Li SF 3 tier in this¿ Having any Mishima character on the cover is good enough for me, I don't need to have EVERYONE on the cover.

Agreed with #13. That's the best box art so far since SFIV. It's original and not 20+ character painted on top of 3D models, thank god for that.

That's a sweet lookin' cover, I dig the art style.

It doesn't need to be a collage of a bunch of characters. Get the poster-boys (and girls) on there, make it looks cool, and you're good to go.

I quite like the artwork. I think by not having lots of characters on the cover helps it stand out next to UMVC3. If both games featured similar cover designs it wouldn't help either game on the shop floor.

So you'd rather have a cover showing poison and some other guys sippin drinks at a bar with Marduk as the bartender? And you think that would be a good cover art for a fighting game? The cover is good as is, if they had more characters on it then it would lose the point they're trying to make. They're trynna show that this game is about 2v2 player fights.

I just don't get why every fighting game cover needs to look like a screen rip from the VS screen.

I remember when they were choosing the special edition fanmade cover for Blazblue and so many people rejected awesome ideas cuz you 'couldn't tell it was a fighting game.'

Its like WTF?!?!

People that know fighting games know what SF vs Tekken is all about!!! And people who buy games based on the front cover will prob buy my suggestion over that POS up there anyway :P

Wow not enough women in the game..... so much cock fest goin on lately just like Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. Tekken has to add Asuka and Lili to the team to even out 4 to 4. I'd say 8 women per side that will make my day.
