that perfect was just tooo savy lol oni is still a hard hitter
I hate yubari's Oni. I just think his fundamentals are really nothing special and the only way he wins is if he lands a gimmick full meter combo + reset. Note the match where he loses to Rufus. It's just obvious he can't win against someone who actually has real fundamentals and knows the matchup.
I feel the only reason Yubari is number 1 Oni is just because Wildcat isn't playing Oni as much as him since well, Wildcat also is into Hakan. When I compare Wildcat to Yubari, I just feel Wildcat clearly has a MUCH better understanding of how mixups and baits work. Wildcat's usage of Ground slam, airdash, and air tatsu are all better, and it's not like he's missing links either. As gimmicky as Oni is in general, when I see Wildcat play Oni, I feel there are some good fundamentals in what he does, while I haven't really seen anything comparably intelligent from Yubari, who seems a lot more reliant on the berserker slash crossover gambles.
In general I feel Wildcat actually is better at utilizing more options intelligently rather than taking gambles that pay off well. Occasionally you'll see Wildcat go for some ballsy raw ultras but that's about it. Probably given time, Wildcat I think has the potential to outpace Yubari.
