Beaten by Felicia... god damn, I feel bad for Combofiend.
This goes to show you this game still had some time left. A lot of characters still needed exploring. Oh well, at least felicia got nice buffs in umvc3. She will easily be better than wolverine. Her delta kick now ground bounces and you can use it to relaunch like wolverines could. Skrull got buffed two, I wonder if he will replace taskmaster with hawkeye.
Well Vanilla has about 2 1/2 weeks left to have some fun before Ultimate is in their hands. Nice to see some skrull play even though his team featured Felicia.
With the new characters coming in I'm sure Combofiend will experiment with a few of them. I really hope he keeps spencer on his team. I think Combofiend put Spencer on the map as a decent character.
@10 Mark my words. Combofiend is going to add super-skrull to his team. In place of she-hulk maybe. But I can almost guarantee that he will have super-skrull.
As much as I LOVE Combofiend (and I do), it looks like he got taken completely off guard by DJ's 'strange' character choices in Felicia and Skrull. They're both very good characters, but are rarely used and it looks like that's what did in Combo; an unfamiliar matchup.
He put up a valiant fight, but I applaud DJ Huoshen for some amazing fights and hope to see more of him come Ultimate. Especially with all of Felicias new buffs.
Felicia has the best command throw in the game and all her throws have priority . PPl who never fought a decent Felicia tend to loose to a good one it just that once she gets touched thats it. Skrull i always thought was one of the best in the game he just needed to get cracked open like resets, kara's, guard breaks and mix ups

@7 Probably not. The damage nerfs to Task hurt him as my anchor, but my team order is built on flexibility. That and his assist coverage can be changed, which I like. In its current state, I can DHC in almost any character order.
I may consider Strange, but I don't think his hypers place nicely with Felicia. I'll see what I can think of, but at worst my Skrull assist is changing to Stone Smite for the extended combos. Not much else may change. I may pick up a Zero/Dante/Strange team to play around with as well.
If that is you DJ, I LOVE watching your Felicia and Skrull at play. It's damn inspiring.
I applaud both you and sidechar for your 'homebrew' teams. Way to think 'outside of the box'. Wish I had the dexterity and know-how to do the same. I tried using Felicia and Skrull pretty early on in the game but unfortunately it turned out that in vanilla I only had good play synergy using Shuma, Sentinel, Wesker, and Chris. I can't wait to get back into the lab for Ultimate to maybe stop being so crappy at the game.

Early signs of New Wolverine Syndrome? Any way, absolutely love your team DJ and running Felicia on point. Felicia's my main ans Super Skrulk (dat Standing Heavy) is my sparring bro's main, so this team is basically if we were to fuse and become a single being, though Task would probably be Doom/Arthur, and we wouldn't have beaten Combofiend lol.

You can't expect EH and SRK to post links to his twitch channel with the instructions to "skip ahead to 45:23, 78:11 and 1:20:00".
If Spooky uploaded key matches you can bet people would link to them.

@27 you sound like an idiot because spooky always uploads at least top 8 he didn't do it for Canada because his equipment got seized. There's no excuse for uploading someone else's content and the fact that you even tried to justify it is sad. He is editing these matches to be uploaded in high quality as we speak and he does it for all of us. Instead of stealing someone else's footage how about you produce your own?

Huoshen and GimR both in the comments? Blasphemy. We have some Skrull celebrities in the house. I've always thought Skrull was underrated and looked super fun, so I plan on using the next 2 weeks before UMvC3 drops to pick him up and at least learn some basics with him. I just wish they didn't give him a voice nerf in UMvC3, and that he still said "He loves you, INFERNOOOOOO". Hope to see more Huoshen matches too. There isn't enough stuff youtube.
