When the Trish assist blocks one of Magneto's attack the combo counter goes down to 17 hits. That was the 3rd glitch.

Desk doesn't enter tournaments. He usually just plays alone. I remember reading that he doesn't really like playing against other people.

#9 Shame. He has what many believe as the best execution in the world.

It looks like there were two separate combo counters going at once and being added together; X-23's and Trish's. When Trish blocked, her counter was reset to 0 like a normal combo would have, but since X-23 was caught in the peekaboo, and still technically in a combo-able state, her counter remained at 13. Since killing a character doesn't mean the end of a combo in this game, the combo counter stays even after Trish is dead and until X-23 is in a state where she can no longer be in a combo (i.e. dead).
