The Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition patch for the PC version of the game that Capcom announced was just released. This patch was to fix a bug that affects some of the various lighting effects on characters. 
Well, I'm a Steam user and the patch is still crashing on game restart so hmmm. Can it be possible, is it, that Capcom has more than one issue with this patch? lol
A little off-topic maybe... but I have the retail version of this game (windows live) will I be able to play with people on steam?
Ok resolved.
But it took some know how on my part to fix it. Steam with Windows live is not reliable together. That's all I'm going to say.

It fixed reflections of fireballs and other light based attacks on characters.
You might not have noticed it (It went 2 months before the first people see the fault and reported it to Capcom) but you certainly did have the issue.
No version of the game was spared from the lighting bug!
Help! I can't even start the game. When i open it, the screen just turns black and if I try to press anything, it says error and the game shuts down.
I just tried installing the patch twice and got a error message both times. Nice.
