I think the first time anyone plays Poongko gets raped. In this case it was poor ol' Bonchan. I'm sure its due to lack of strong Seth players in Japan.

When Bonchan and Poongko played against each other at Godsgarden 4, it was a much closer match.

RF and Mago are the best sagats n japan but bonchan just needs more seth experience imo.

Sagat vs Seth is a bad matchup for sagat, Bonchan did well especially as he is against poongko who is a beast

great matches...but i noticed that in every match, the exact same thing happened to bonchan. he gets seth down, walks up, then gets reversal'd or hitconfirmed into a huge combo which turns momentum in Poongko's favor and leads to Bonchan losing. does seth have some way of avoiding sagat's fireball game that would make bonchan rely so much on rushdown?

#16 down fierce, wall jump and teleport will stop Sagat from abusing his fireball game, I guess.

I could be wrong, but looking at the very first video of Poongko, does it seem like he has turbo set on low for his LP? He could be mashing it extremely fast I suppose but the consistency of how fast it fills the screen looks like turbo.

It does look like he has LP set to the lowest turbo setting. Maybe he consistently mashes LP at the same speed or maybe he uses turbo at home to save wear and tear on his tendons.

Nah man. If you watch an excellent adventures titled "A wild poongko" you will hear the abuse he puts TEs through when he mashes all of those buttons... it sounds like a rat munching on a peanut...

Poongko isn't called "The Machine" for nothing. He can press 2.5 million buttons per minute, all day.

Tokido is actually the only player who constantly manages to beat Poongko!

Woooow tokido's akuma has all the answers to deal with poonko's BS. He took no sh*t whatsoever. I wish I could say the same about bonchan. Lil something I learned is, when your enemy is almost dead finish him and don't give him time to think. Poonko had some guiilee theme moments in matches he shouldve lost.

Akuma is just a bad-match up for Seth, while Sagat is in its favor. I am a 11k Seth and that is my observation.

Dat walk speed, air zoning and roundhouse of Akuma gives Seth a lot of problems.

I am actually not surprised top players like Daigo and Mago state that Akuma will be the only S tier in AE2012.
