Ono shows Asuka's boot in Street Fighter X Tekken

Yoshinori Ono left a new tweet which shows Asuka, from the Tekken series, or more specifically, her boot, standing next to Poison. You can compare this screen capture to her artwork from the Tekken series, shown on the right.

I had new playable rom about Street Fighter X Tekken in this early morning. I had be fun that nonpublic new characters! hehehe~ ;P

Asuka was shown previously in the E3 trailer, and is the last character to be officially announced from the hidden fighters we were able to spot — from that particular video.

cool. reveals should be coming soon. I hope we get an alternate for Asuka where she wears the traditional martial arts uniform. (I love it coz she looks like Kasumi Todoh from King of Fighters)

Eventhubs said that RR and Frank west will be shown in Japan 28 -30 at 1pm japan time. FOR NEW YORK its 12am, for california that will be 9pm so maybe around 9 - 11pm cali time we may see a RR frank west update.

@Kenshiro I second that. not the Kazama im waiting for -_- i wont be content with this game unless Jin, Guy,Law,Lars, & Dudley are in. i GUESS i can manage with no Baek, or Armor King T-T. & to those who are thinking im just being greedy, that would be true, IF i had already gotten the majority of the ppl i use from both games! so far the only ppl i use that made it in this game are Ryu,Nina,Steve,Cammy,Heihachi, Guile & Ibuki WTF out of 27 characters SO FAR? >_>

Though we already knew asuka was in the game from one of the earliest trailers which is why i'm sure he even bothered to post the boot.

@39 people complained about jill/shuma being announced months before mvc3's release and they still charged for them (the fact they were found near complete on the disc didn't help things out). this is no different. there's no doubt in my mind that capcom will charge for them as a way to get as much as they can out of the game along with alternate costumes/dlc characters down the line. when's the last time capcom released a console game without dlc, it's become part of their modus operandi

Ok, so I like Asuka a lot, however this has me EXTREMELY pumped and hopeful for other reasons.
Asuka and Lili in one crossover? That gives so much hope for Sakura, and none other than Karin my all time favorite SF character. I have even more hope now that she might make it in, if she does than I officially will have 3 of 4 of my all time favorite SF fighters in one game. I have Guile and Rolento right now, all I need is Karin and Q and this will have all my favorite characters. I'm already happy as is with being able to put Guile and Rolento in one team up again like I did in C.v.S.2 now if I can just get Karin, than Karin/Rolento would make this my favorite Fighting game of all time. PLEASE CAPCOM! it's almoooost christmas :P

I'm with #9 in that I would love to see Asuka's traditional outfit in this game :) It was such a cute and yet awesome style and it was the costume I always played as in Tekken 5 and 6. I have a bad feeling, though, that we'll be getting the Tekken character's alternate costumes in DLC...

I wonder how Asuka's going to work in this kind of game? She's so very grapple-heavy, doing a ton of locks and reversals and even grapples to characters on the ground. I'm not sure how SF would translate that and keep her 'feel', but that's part of the fun of this :)

@44 Asuka's legs aren't bug at all. In that screen shot her gams look massive. Even Chun-Li is designed a little bit more proportionately in this game compared to SF4.

Asuka is standing in her fighting stance next to her opponent. So that means no delusions of an improper angle, but there is time to tighten her model.
