That was a really fantastic Gen player, all things considered. Never really lost his cool, even if he didn't make much headway in the match. Xian could definitely learn something from this guy.
GoGo Yubari is such a sick Oni. I swear, the best Oni players online, are much better than Combofiend, and Chris Hu (though I don't think Chris Hu plays Oni anymore). Combofiend is still learning the character, and he'll probably be the best after another month or so with the character, but some of the Oni's are really proving that he's not a bad character, or even gimmicky. He really is going to turn out to be a very solid character, his normals are great, he does a ton of dmg+stun, and he has the best DP in the game. If he could FADC on block, to keep people honest on his wakeup, he could really be a high tier character.

What are you TALKING about? That Gen was TERRIBLE! I'm surprised he didn't get punished MORE for all those stupidly random Gekiros and "see them coming a mile away" Ogas. He had a couple of tricks up his sleeve but his gameplan was guaranteed to fail against anyone with even half a brain.
I wanted to see a fight where both Ryu and Oni had 4000 PP. They were actually on different levels.

I know the gen is flashy but he knows nothing about footsie, and his movement can be seen a mile away, for one nobody does mp mk into hands as punish but tc2 gekiro. and even I who is a decent gen know that random gekiro is so stupid to do.
Bottom line he is just there, Xian is light years ahead of him.
Xian, with his full screen supers and random ultras? Better than this guy? That's a good one. The first round in this fight was prime rushdown Gen, he really only made one poor wakeup EX gekiro, and it seems obvious he was trying to preempt the Oni player. Second round wasn't so great, I'll admit, but he still managed to keep the pressure on really well.

At the risk of sounding like Eventhubs/SRK internet warriors who always have to piss on videos of players when they themselves suck, Yubari doesn't really seem like he is controlling his matches. It always seems like the other character is playing better then he gets an opening to start his combo and just goes buckwild.
Good Oni player fun to watch. Too bad that string at the 2:34 was not all 1 string still fun too watch.

HEY I GOT A GREAT IDEA! Lets make a character that can hit across the stage as his gimmick but has low hp. HOWEVER! Everyone can hit him back across the stage too but not have his crappy hp or lack of real combos! WOW sir that is a fantastic idea sign me the f*** up!
