Damn that Ironfist Assist sounds a little to powerful imo. Comes out super fast, with invicibilty frames, is fullscreen AND gives a wall bounce into combo. Boys we may have found our new tron "sure shes ground heavy but we only use her for assist" assist.
My initial thoughts: Oh they're skipping Vergil and Iron fist this week and doing Pheonix Wright. At least that means I can see Nova early...
It's good to know we'll get Vergil and Nova next week unless I get tricked again lol. that's 2/3 of my team, yo!
I would much rather lamers use iron fist than the old trons assist. at least it will push me back into the far wall making it harder to combo into. Instead of falling right in your face for a full combo.

Iron Fist looks pretty complex. I have a feeling he'll struggle a lot against the majority of aerial based characters given that he'll have to rely on an anti-air assist to deal with them. I can see him pairing up well with Trish and/or Dante though. Trish for her Peekaboo assist and Dante for Jam Session.

Not minor at all, that is actually a huge difference. I understand in this game, the mechanics for assists seem to favor momentum especially for rush down characters because it is a rush down orientated game. And what's a better way to break momentum than a "Get the f*ck off me/Anti Air Assist like that?
The most played assists are either projectile to help you get in, create mixups or combo extenders like OTG or OTW or even capture state ones. So blowback assists like that seemed to be lacking other than a few exceptions. Also that Iron Fist one reminds me of Jill's arrow kick assist.

I've been saying phoenix wrights turnabout mode was overpowered the moment i saw it. Does way too much damage. But for me, the worst part is, his level 3. 600,000 damage, and up to 1.3 million with level 3 x-factor by itself. To top it off, its fullscreen and has invincibility on startup? The most damaging hyper in game thats surely gonna kill you. Its the new dark phoenix in my opinion. My best bet is that people will have to kill him like they kill phoenix. Snap him in/or kill him as soon as possible. Or try and get rid of his bars. His turnabout mode lasts too long and is achievable multiple times. He can get all his evidence with luck in 1 second. This is all my opinion of course and cant say much till the games been out for a while, but its just my intuition. As for Iron Fist, I put him on my team once i saw he played like a Bruce Lee imitator.
Never thought about it till youtube commentor Solqueen86 pointed it out we got: an Attorney (Phoenix Wright) a Judge (She Hulk) and a Mayor (Haggar) all dishing out some law abiding shizz to the other chars on UMVC3!!!
Also Ultroxx007 pointed out: Yeah, seems to be a pattern with the Phoenix characters, both are OP if they live long enough to pull off their Ultra's, but until they reach that point they're pretty sucky.

@27 REALLY? Phoenix Wright having projectiles is nonsense? And everything else in this game just makes total sense, right? Holy sh*t you kids are stupid these days. You're so obsessed with wanting everything looking badass, and cool, it's pathetic. It's a video game where super heroes and villains, fight Capcom characters....And you think PW having projectile type attacks.......is nonsense.....wow.

Anyone complaining about the lack of realism in this game needs to stop.
This is a game where a lone Sentinel can single handedly take down Galactus. Anyone who's familiar with how useless Sentinels are in the Marvel universe knows that's the most ridiculous thing.
More on topic though, looking forward to seeing what Level 3 X-Factored Turnabout Mode Wright can do. It's gonna be crazy.

I go by the comics. She's a lawyer. Her character specific interactions also indicate she's a lawyer. I believe her interactions with Phoenix Wright specifically indicate that they are both lawyers.
