Those Dormammu buffs made me happy, but I am saddened by the flame carpet nerf. I used that move a lot. Still though, I'm looking foward to his new chains, air potential and cancellable dark matter.
For all things in general, I'm liking how almost ALL these buffs were for moves that are actually used in matches, not like in SF where they buff the damage for a move that you're never going to use (Chun Li's H.Spinning Bird Kick). That or making a bad move actually useful (Doom's air gun).

Hulk in vanilla is mid (if you're feeling generous) to low (realistically) tier. Pretty much any character with either useful projectiles, high mobility, or lots of multi-hit moves could ruin Hulk's day.
Hulk getting a buff to his Gamma Charge was crucial, and getting more super armor on more moves is gonna help him out a lot.

I've been saying from the beginning that these Doom buffs are more than he needs and I still stand by it. Everything points to him being too good when UMvC3 drops.

News flash: Doom's J.S isn't the only one that causes a hard knockdown... Dante, Vergil, Iron Fist, Tron are just a few off the top of my head that cause a hard knockdown, not to mention that Vergil and Dante both have teleports to go along with it.
Dr. Doom's air dash was ass, his air normals were terrible when compared to the top tiers, he was a joke as an anchor due to how difficult it is for him to open people up w/out assists.
So Please, redirect your crying at a different character that can wave dash, teleport and has better normals than Doom, there's plenty of them in UMvC3.

Magneto's lookin' GREAT still, Doom is looking high tier... So glad I don't have to change 2/3 of my team :D. Originally it was sounding like Magneto would be ass, but he looks really solid with those new moves :D.

Yes. Cry because your "Hey, look at me! I use this character even though he's low tier and rarely used! Praise me!" character got buffs and will actually be good in the next game. People make me laugh. You ask for buffs. When you get 'em? You say it's too much. There is just no pleasing you people.
Personally, I love it. And I don't even use Doom. (But be careful! Now that he's gonna be top tier, I just might!! Gasp!! Fear! Lmao.)
I don't get why people are so worried about Doom being 'too good' in UMvC3; he has more ways to start combos, but he still does the same (if not around the same) amount of damage. He'll definitely be better, but I don't see him being the next Wolverine as his combos (especially his loops) require at least some effort on the player's part.
Of course I don't use Doom (nor do I plan on using him in UMvC3), so maybe there's something that I don't know about that makes him such a threat to some people.
Every time I see She-Hulks slide in Ultimate it makes me want to cry. But I guess Hyper Armor on her run is a nice addition.
Wow, people thought he was low-tier in the last game? I put him in the top 15. He was pretty well used, definitely not an obscure character.As for his air dash being "ass", isn't he literally the only character in the game that can cancel his normals into a dash? He had high damaging combos and good mobility, a high priority dive kick and all of that. Sorry if you disagree but I still really don't think he needed the buffs to the extent he got.

Really happy about the Hulk buffs and the throw is now usefull which is awesome I use to never use it because it did crappy damage, along with throwing the character to the other side of the screen.
I am really diggin this game I am really starting to see why this was a disk release and not DLC they really put time in this one now bring on RR I really hope groot is in his LV3 it would be super cool if he had a move like BB Hood but insted of woodsman the Guardians of the galaxy all came out and started laying down fire
@#37: Yup. When I first heard about the nerf to FC I was a bit upset, but when you put it in the context of the rest of his changes it's plenty ok cause he has SO many more options now. He's my favorite character so I'm pretty hype on it.

He could already do 700,000 with 1 meter and no assist or x factor. Plus he has one of the best projectile assist in the game. All 3 are usable.
Doesn't bother me he got buffed so much, but wow he really wasn't as bad as spider man and thor.

In the earlier builds, Hulk's Incredible Punch was said to have Super Armor of up to 5 hits. Is this still true or has this been changed/removed?
My boy Dormammu is looking really good. With Thor's buffs, my team is looking great at Ultimate so far. I always liked how Doom fought on vanilla, and he is greater on Ultimate, so maybe I'll add him to my main team.
where are the capcom characters? i wana see the changes of dante, ryu, chriss, trish, spence etc. i hope maximillian start with capcom characters.
and one thing the are stupid or what? doom no neede buffs he really was a strong character, the characters they really need buff was haggar, arthur, morrigan and lei lei.
