The latest video from Desk shows some applications for his standing 720 Ultra 1 setup.
A little known and little used technique. Demonstrated here in some fairly basic set-ups (vs. opponents wake up from hard knockdown and quick rising). There are many other applications, it also has huge advantages over methods involving buffering part/all of the motion in whiffed attacks. The 540/720 is made slightly easier by kara cancelling another special 1 frame before activation.
