Updated: Kotaku has uploaded a video from the panel showing this in action, check it out here.Basically, Galactus inhabits the right side of the screen from the waist up and blasts, crushes, and pounds his enemies. He had no health bar and seemed to take no damage. The panel described this as its own mode.

That's what they need for this game... more fun modes to add depth when you don't feel like the same old fighting matches.

i wonder if capcom can add a capcom boss has secret boss of the game soo can player experience a new boss instead of galactus but its posible to add one for something before the release which they have 4/5 weeks from now which frank west and R.Raccoon are already finished which now they need is either a new secret boss to surprise the fans to give them a challenge or maybe give a galactus different battle versions instead fighting him in space with 2 sub bosses which is lame because u kill them in seconds in any mode and maybe they can add time trial mode to beat every different levels too add ur record online. if this is anyway capcom can hear my comment would be awesome thx everyone for reading this

I'm not surprised that Galactus is playable in UMvC3, well, in this special mode, that is. I think this mode could be the mysterious mode that Niitsuma is excited about. Also, Galactus being playable reminds me of Onslaught, who is the unlockable playable boss in MvC1.

Sweet, I was hoping this would be one of the new modes; brings back memories of MvC1.
I hope the put alot of new modes too get titles instead everything online matches and also put time trial mode i wonder i much rounds u can get and the boss mode its also very cool mode in my opinion it reminds me TvC and i hope this keeps going with fans around with the comments it makes things interesting in here lol
@38 Yeah, im suprised Capcom did'nt do a Super Boss of their own, it has always been mostly Marvel Super Bosses. Would be cool to get characters like Sigma, Astaroth, Mundus, Gill maybe, I bet the bosses in Asuras Wrath would be freakin awsome.
Of course we did get Yami from Okami series in TvC.
The Capcom Uber-Boss should be a giant Troll named Mega Man... he could be as big as Galactus.
This Galactus mode thing would make sense for a survival mode. You play through all characters until you get to Galactus or you pick Galactus until you defeated all characters???? That's what I'm thinking some sort of Survival Mode. It's obvious that Galactus will not be in versus mode.
I was thinking make Galactus the size of Sentinel, but slightly bigger, and then when he does his supers he'll grow to his giant sizes and perform it the same way he does--you know screen blacks out and all you see is his waist when he does his supers.
#44 nexus ur right on the idea of survival mode they should do that it would be awesome if they would do it and capcom biggest bosses sigma,bosses from asuka wrath not bad idea,Tyrant, or monster hunter boss like lagiacrus or alatreon boss lol that would be a good idea too see that which they wanted something of monster hunter in there but capcom din't add them and also what more they can add maybe Tyrant which he wasn't playable but its a fun boss to see what else Mundus from dmc hes huge challenge him would be a good challenge or Pyron from darkstalker and the okami boss from TvC that one was fun too but keep adding idk im voting on the list for capcom boss UMVC3 and i know u guys want a challenging boss than galactus

Sigma vs Apocalypse would be cool for that, like not the size of Galactus, but the size of PTA 40a and the Giant Cigarette lighter lol
I think they decided against it to make TvC to feel more unique or something.
they should of done some thing like CapcomvsSnk, and have you fight either Galactic for marvel, and maybe Mundus (I know another DMC character) for capcom. well at least they didn't try to make up a boss like MvC2.
Yes, this is a really stupid and pointless mode. Though some fans have a hard time seeing how stupid and pointless it is unless it's in the game. I guess better to include it than have them whine and complain about it not being there.
actually a darkstalker boss would be cool because nitsuma wanted a darkstalker character since the beggining why can't he add a boss from darkstalker and added in the game and also my idea of arcade would be cool if u beat the last round with the character from marvel you would end fighting galactus if u beat ur last arcade match round with a capcom character than you would end up fighting a capcom boss instead of galactus and if the add this mode than you can choose between galactus and a capcom boss because galactus ain't worthy has boss hes suppose to be overpowered but hes not. add something better or add something new before the release
well as long as he doesnt fill the spot of one of the four unrealesed characters and i will be ok with it
