Capcom announced on their blog today that there is an upcoming online tournament on October 21st titled Godsgarden X Capcom. It features 5 players on two teams not including the team's respective captain and a hidden unknown player that will join later.

So its Godsgarden X Capcom but they only have SSFIV AE??? Yeah gonna want to have a couple more of their fighting games on the roster if you want to give it a name like that. Besides the wierd team format how is this any different from what they usually do? I mean do they also plan on having UMvC 3 or Street Fighter X Tekken present at the event as well?
They could have instituted a draft system like MOBA games such as League of Legends. Team captains on both sides, 2 bans each, take turns picking and no duplicate character allowed.
They can modify this system to suit fighting games such as limiting bans to 1 per team and allowing duplicate characters on each team.
Mystery Fighter is a secret weapon because the other can't use "void", so they can't counter it.

Anyways what I mean is the tourne looks interesting and the unique way of playing seems cool, and the player talent pool is definetly hype, the names just a little lame is all. Its not so much GGxCAPCOM as it is GGxSSIVAE is all.

I heard about that too. Do you know if Mago and Tokido are also in Kuwait for this?
It's kinda weird that the two most famous SF players after Daigo are not on either teams. I suspect that those two are the mysteries unless they are also with Daigo in Kuwait.
FYI Tokido and Mago are currently in Ohio for Seasons Beatings and my guess is that they will likely go straight from there to Calgary for Canada Cup. Something tells me they probably don't want to keep hopping back and forth between Japan and North America, especially just to play online.
