Capcom is running a live stream from New York Comic-Con today. This is the final day of NYCC 2011.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 producer, Ryota Niitsuma, will be on stream very early this morning for an interview.

The stream and a schedule of today's events that will happen on it can be found after the jump.

It will be earlier actually is when they are going to reveal some SFxTekken characters just like they did today. Tomorrow is Street Fighter Day. Expect Rocket Raccoon and Frank to be shown off on Saturday. If that doesn't happen, Frank and Rocket will be shown in November.

Well I doubt that they are going to reveal Rocket Raccoon and Frank West because you can't pick them in this build. On the other reveals you was able to pick the characters.

Every time someone uses a new character they get killed quickly! Why? Because no one knows how to use them just yet, its their first time using that person. Also every is playing super seriously so I dont think any new charters will be shown as much from regular players.

Also no one will be using new moves from exsiting players like c. vipers laser beam or wolverines swizz cheese.

I saw swizz cheese used but It is disappointing that not many are playing the newer characters even though they don't know the moves. As I understand it the booths have a 'king of the hill' mentality to them as if they win, they can stay and play but I think if they win 5 in a row they go back in line.

Screw that, he looks great! I never even heard of Phoenix Wright or his games until the whole character wish list debacle prior to Vanilla MvC3 release. He's got a pretty unique and interesting moveset which is must needed and that Finger of Doom is shades of Fatal Fury/King of Fighter's Ryuji Yamazaki. I think he'll be a great addition and look forward to seeing what he'll be like in high level play.

As far as NYCC and Fighting games go, I think pretty much most of the top competitors are en route to Seasons Beatings, right?

@#45 Thanks! So anything interesting from his brief character showcase? I'm particularly interested to see if Nova had anything unique. Like him as a character (I'm a comic book fan), but he just seemed to have alot of forward momentum moves (booster airdive, booster otg, maybe a booster uppercut, etc.), quick flight, a weird looking projectile, and really nothing else.

base from the character tutorials that Seth showed regarding Phoenix Wright and Nova, I'm with the impression that they both suck. I still think strider is way top tier than anybody of the new cast revealed so far. I guess it''s up to Rocket Raccoon now. lol

Nova, really did look crappy? That's a shame. He looked to have a very simplistic moveset (something I'm not a fan of), but now he looks crappy aswell. I take your word on it for now. Hopefully we'll see more promise in later showcases
or when the game comes out.

Phoenix Wright looks really cheap with the ability to do a crap ton of damage with certain aspects met. Looks like the best way to beat him would be to kill him before he gets all his evidence that boosts his powers. When he went into his powered up mode witch is pretty much dark phoenix, he does like a 4 hit combo that is about 100% without hyper bar or X-factor. I'd hate to see what would happen if someone mastered him. I still think he ruins the game a bit and makes it look crappy.

Nova on the other hand is pretty much basic. Nothing extraordinary and nothing bad about him. But lets face it, give a character some OTG's, flight, and good damage output and coupled with assists and that pretty much puts him at a middle to high tier. And Nova does good damage.

My final hopes rest in Rocket Raccoon. Please make him Ultimate Tier!!!

Pheonix Wright looks like a technical heavy character, kind of like Dr.Strange where he's not good right from the start but once he gets going, he's a beast. Seth said PW is somewhere between really OP and really decent. Of course when a character is very technical that means he is gonna get passed over at high level tournaments for straight damage dealers that don't have to work to get their wins. Characters like MODOK, C.Viper ect. suffer from this. And it's a shame because I would give anything to see that "Objection" Level 3 make someone salty at Evo 2012.

At first I was worried that the evidence gathering would be too difficult but after seeing Seth get it several times in a row with almost perfect success and super quick I don't think it will be a problem.

Nova, well he looks like a mix of Super Skrull and Wesker but the only thing that seemed interesting is the fact that one of his hypers does more damage the more red health he has. I'd like to see how people use that. He has a lot of high low mix ups though so thats good.

Yeah it would be foolish to write these characters off this early. Just because Nova has a more simplistic moveset doesn't mean he's gonna be ass, take Spencer for example. He only has 3 special moves, 4 if you count the zip line and 2 hypers and he's a freakin' beast.

Yeah, "simplistic" doesn't always mean "crappy". I mean look at Wolvie in MVC3 and Ryu in SFIV (p.s. I disagree that Ryu is ass in AE). I don't mind the tier listing though, but I look for 2 things when I pick characters to main: I have to like them as a character (personality and look) and playstyle. Not to sound like an "Elitist", but I usually like characters with something unique and/or mid to high execution levels. I got nothing against simplistic characters I just don't usually find them that entertaining to play. Sadly Nova is sounding to have only one of those and Phoenix Wright might sound harder to master, but I've never played an Ace Attorney game and not big on him character-wise. Maybe he'll grow on me though? I am however intrigued at this, "One of Nova's hypers does more damage with more red health present." though. Can some confirm this and which one?

just as Mr. Killian said, PW can be a beast of a character in the right hands and with good back up assists from his team mates. phoenix wright needs to be protected first during gameplay with good assists so he can power up after gathering his "evidences" so its really a run away and keep away game for him at first then when he is in power up mode he can basically kill you with that one move that Seth was showing, the one where his hand sticks out like a giant glove or something or kinda like a big hammer. lol

As for this stream, man don't see why Unity can't get Spooky or IPLAYWINNER to run these things. Capcom is terrible with streams, i've seen better unofficial streams run smoother in Japan. New York is like only a coupe thousand miles from here.

Not trolling but this is'nt the first time they botched these things. hearing the game 12 seconds earlier is weird.

(Well, you have to realize - Ono's team has moved onto SFxT - I wouldn't expect too much SFIV stuff anymore. And like it or not, Mahvel is both more popular and more profitable than the SF series.)

(So SFIV sold more than MVC3? It's too bad they don't do NPD stuff anymore - I'd have definite answers then...But, anyway, SFIV has had alot more proliferation and versions. I'm about 70% sure if you pair up SFIV vs MVC3(console) the latter would be more popular. Curses for not having numbers -_-...)

I would agree with you, but when they updated the roster with Nova and Wright this weekend on the main UMvC3 webpage, they put Rocket and Frank there also. Also, Rocket and Frank are with the other two in an ad they used.

Those sales numbers are wrong dude, on that site it said MVC 2 had 0 sales. MvC 3 sold over 2 million copies http://www.rewindreplay.com/marvel-vs...
. hat ite is showing only the sales within 10 weeks.
As of now MVC 3is more popular than Street Fighter the number of fans are growing and growing. Street Fighter is only a bigger Franchise because it Started back in the mid-80's. MVC started in the mid late 90's, Street Fighter has about 15 years over MvC 3. Concerning total franchise sales Tekken is the biggest.
