Cross Counter team has another episode of Runnin' Sets today. We have cc.coL|Combofiend vs BT|IFC Yipes facing off in a first to five set for Marvel vs. Capcom 3.

T_T Yipes it is a crime against humanity that you are not GDLK at this game I really really hope Ultimate Marvel, with its toned down xfactor, removal of DHC glitch, and toned down Phoenix will be a more welcoming game to a Titan of Marvel 2 such as yourself.

Combo is pro and so entertaining to watch. I love all his thrash talk, it's mad funny and you know it's all in good fun. It's not the type of ish fchamp would say.

@6 Combofiend does glitch, and when he stuns you with she-hulk and calls Spencer in... yeah that's a damage reset aswell.

Besides that Combofiend is a beast. I still got to rep the east-side though. ATL whats good.

Combo is by far my favorite player. Not only to watch cause his team is solid, but especially to listen to because his trash talk is always hilarious. That power glove line cracked me up.

Yipes looked liked he was seriously hurting from the Roscoe's chicken.

When he was on the mic at WNF last week he basically implied, in so many words, that he some digestive issues after their Roscoe's feast.

not to excuse him from the set, but it at least explains why he seemed pretty quiet and uncomfortable during the whole thing.

mad respect for yipes and his commentary is godlike but this is why he needs to be dropped from the east coast team for season's beatings. the team needs someone like chris g, or mastacj, yipes will just be a free point on the board.

Has anybody noticed that Combofiend's team just so happens to be structured perfectly for Ultimate? He doesn't rely (I didn't say he never uses it) on DHC Trick, but has very damaging DHCs and he hits hard with all his characters and has a lot of sick mix up set ups with all of them. Its almost like he already knew Ultimate was coming out and made the perfect team for both vanilla and ultimate... NOBODY CAN STOP HIM FROM FIENDING ALL OVER EVERYONE!!! (most of the time)

#37 Yeah, his team choices make it a really easy transition to Ultimate, the only change being all of them got a new move, which is always welcome. His DHC's work well, Emerald Cannon into Bionic Maneuvers into Legion Arrow surprisingly works, and it's gonna be interesting seeing him in Ultimate. Only hting hse has to do now is learn the matchups with the new characters.

Also, that girl sitting in the back of the video? Yeah, she doesn't want to be there. XD

I like Combofiend but in every video he trash talks obnoxiously from beginning to end, it's a little overboard. Seems like "that guy" who doesn't know when to stop...it's no wonder Yipes looked highly ready to remove his face. lol. Good set though from two of my favorite players. West Coast is definitely stronger right now with Combofiend and Jwong at the top.

Yes Marlinpie did win T12 over Combofiend. But keep in mind that in double elim tourneys, grand finals does not always determine who is the better player.

Where the losers player has to win two sets, while the winners player need only win one set of three games.

Just means that they were put to losers (could have been randomed out, etc). Like in Evo2k9, I believe Justin won more matches than Daigo in grand finals, reset the brackets but Daigo took the last set.

@37: something he (and every other She-Hulk player out there, myself included) has to get used to though is her nerfed slide range, which is really bad now. It has been a great move to get in in Vanille but covering less than half the distance in Ultimate, it’ll be pretty useless most of the time. And he does start a couple of combos with it, even in this set.

Damn son, can west coast get some love for the domination on MvC3? And to be honest I can't see it ending with UMvC3. But for realsies something was wrong with Yipes, he's never that quiet even when losing.
