lol shoulda got his dad to play ghost rider lol, but the irony in this is killing me lol I freakin love this series i hope it goes on for a long time
I have noticed that Strider, Virgil, Ghost Rider, and Firebrand all needed 3-4 meters to do those crazy high damage combos or mixups to kill mainly 1 character. I don't personally see them as broken yet since Ultimate is supposedly more about mixups and not about 1-hit touch of death combos
I'm so glad capcom came to him to help support his show he really deserves it pretty awesome of them to do that

#8 He doesn't have as much reach as Wolverine and doesn't do that much damage. He's more like a more agile version of Viewtiful Joe to be honest. He's still going on my team though. :P
#10 It's very important to kill characters in Marvel 3. The Pros on WNF also agree, saying that meter is not important as it's easily attainable. If you let certain characters like Sentinel/Wesker live, it can really hurt you later on. So I often blow 2 or 3 supers to take out the other players anchor.

#18 Thank you. It's not like you like "launch, dive kick Hurr Durr" your way to victory. Okay, so he has a speed up super....So what? He's still nothing like Logan. Flight canceling seems to be the key to his gameplay.
(Firebrand could very well be the wolverine, with all the nerfs the latter is getting. Time will tell, though.)

Wow good stuff max. I was rofl when he first turned to Ghost Rider and Doom started running. I was like "Good move". Quite informative aswell. Firebrand will be ok, but his low health and damage output will make him more of a beast at anchor with lvl 3 x factor. I think Ghost rider will be the better teammate. He has faster otg and all his assist look good. plus he wont have a problem doing damaage.
Ghost rider will be a problem he can freakin hit you from full screen with no problem... I can't wait to see him in the hands of Justin wong or combofiend or clockwork or some other top player. This game is gonna be so hype. Capcom knows how to take my cash. And yet i talk trash about apple consumers

#20, #22 I'm really sick of everyone saying this Speed up hyper, groundbounce dive-kick, and claws. That's it. That's all he has in common with him. So that automatically makes him Wolverine? The hell outta here. Firebrand takes much more execution to get good with him them Logan, as you need to do multiple commands to get his airdashes and flight maneuvers to work. And btw, #22, why do you always type in parentheses? Are you whispering?
@31 didn't you watch the video? his air maneuvers and dashes are semi-automatic, some moves automatically put him into flight and such so while he most definitely will be more execution heavy than easy flowchart azz wolverine....most of the hard stuff is done for you it seems.

(You sound so sure of yourself, #31 - but Wolverine and Phoenix got heavily nerfed, and this is now a zoning game. Firebrand has both zoning materials and a 'rush down' like approach.
I mean, I don't know either, but it's a possibility is all I'm saying. I mean of COURSE he'll have advanced fly-cancel shizzle, but he auto-flies already.)

I meant because he auto-cancels into flight for most of his moves, you have to cancel OUT of flight again. Let's say you do a combo, launch em, air combo, end with dive kick. Dive Kick ground bounces but you end up in flight, so you can't fall down like you could with Wolvie. You have to cancel out of flight to come back to the ground, then relaunch them into another air combo, then end with a command grab, wall bounce, cancel out of flight, launch again, air combo into super....you get the idea. And that's only one instance.

I always think of Ghost Rider when I hear that godforsaken song "Moves like Jagger" on the radio.
"Look into my eyes, and I'll own you."
And the way that he swings his his chains for his hyper, I always think of the chorus.
"I got them moooOooOOOOOoooooOooves like Jagger~"
These videos are really motivating me to get back in and experiment when UMvC3 comes out. I couldn't initially get into MvC3. With Ultimate, I'm seeing more and more how making a team is essentially like making your own character and your own combos, with all the individual characters providing the key building blocks. The biggest point is that they're trying to balance it so that there is no completely obsolete character. When playing MvC3, I didn't like that if you didn't have one of the "Fab 5" or "Fab 6," on your team, you were going to lose. First day purchase! (no I don't work for Capcom, you pessimists -.-).
