Niitsuma recently tweeted that the preparations for the upcoming New York Comic Con are complete and that all that needs to be practiced is the UMvC3 stage show. It is strongly suspected that the last four characters will be revealed over the next several days; Nova, Frank West, Rocket Raccoon and Phoenix Wright.

Translation: I have completed as much of the NYCC presentation as I can for now. All that is left is the on-site rehearsal and other miscellaneous things.
Last year at New York Comic Con 2010 four characters were revealed. Those were Arthur, Spencer, MODOK and Magneto. These characters were not playable at the event, but trailers and images were still released anyway.
It's highly possible that it will play out the same way, but with the game being this close to release it's very unlikely that the revealed characters will be unplayable on the show floor.

Been a fan of Nova(Richard Rider) since 1993. Still surprised they chose him though. Hes not that famous.

@2 It still amazes me that with all the changes to Richard Rider people still use that comparison. I would figure Phyla or Wyndell would fit that statement much more.

That picture is more teasing then anything else at the moment. I mean look at Wright, so confident. It's like he's saying "Trust me, I got this. Just call me into assist and you will totally extend that combo."

@8 Won't happen. Not only is she not Quasar anymore, she's currently dead. (Thank you very much Thanos) Sad because I'd pay big money to see Phyla-Vell as Quasar in this. She had a whole Jedi Knight meets Green Lantern vibe to her.

Hopefully we get some content a couple days early. Didn't stuff start floating around here about 2-3 days before TGS?
