I would love to see how they explain that one. and Deejay? he was always a favorite of mine(sf4 deejay made me sad) but is he popular enough to be in? there are 9 characters shown but the thing that is confusing to me is..... one of them is an alternate costume and the other is dead yeah mecha gief is the costume and dan (shown in first video) according to ono is dead and they are in seperate videos so this leads me to believe that two characters in each video are real and the others are trolls or fake outs like they may be just back ground characters ala yun and yang

I don't know WHERE people are seeing C. Viper, but I definitely don't see her.
Karin and Sakura really need to be confirmed... seriously, these characters, from what I can tell, are not anyone people were really HYPED for.

They wouldn't put in two iterations of Zangief. That's just stupid. The only one to be even half-certain about is Juri, since they showed her normal costume. They've never used an alternate costume to show a new character in a teaser before. The other two trailers are really ambiguous and could also be Tekken characters. Nice job Capcom :D

It seems like they are neglecting some teams that make sense to completely boggle us still hoping for Sakura and Karin if they are in this will be my new game for the next 10 years I don't know how all you guys are so good at picking up clues watching these but if oro is in that would be sick as AIDs (not trying to offend anyone with AIDS)

I think Yang is in that bottom one. Whether or not he's being confirmed as a fighter I dunno. I'm fairly certain that's his back (or maybe it's Yun performing his ultra in a red color) and that's the train stage.
Personally, I'm hoping for Yang. Yun's seen enough spotlight already.
P.S. I have no idea what that 3rd one in the last video is. I'm kinda hoping for Cody in a Final fight costume but meh, hopes get dashed to smithereens.
You'll notice that a lot of the pictures are from super sf4. Maybe the one in the new scenery is the one thats revealed. Juris hand is in an sfxt stage. viper and dan are in distillery and jungle (respectively).
DJ is in overpass and mgief is in seths stage, the middle one lookin like its in the dojo stage of sfxt
3rd vid idk, red sleeve looks like rail yard, rog shoe could be anywhere, but the 3rd pic is definitely the stage the original demo came out on for sfxt.

Dan = Murdered, so a murderer. Vipers glove, SIN? Noting that the purple nail polish is on the SFxT Rolento stage, and stringing an SIN purple loving murderer, Juri?
The other two, I'm lost though I think Mecha-Gief might be a hit at Jack from the Tekken Series
So all the trailers have 2 red herrings, and 1 real character. The first one is Juri, with Dan/Viper being fake. Second one is Fei (I can tell with that foot being his crouching light kick and his extended naked arm being a rekka) and the Deejay/Robogief being fake. The third one is Balrog (You can see his boot, his waist line and his mouth in the trailer) and Yang/??? as the fake ones.
Mechagief is just an alternate for gief, just to make it nine, make it 4 SF and 4 Tekken characters
Dan/Viper/Juri and Deejay for SF en the rest is tekken I assume

OK, I haven't got much experience of the Tekken universe, so if there's any characters from that apart from the earlier ones I'll probably be wrong, but by the looks of it mostly seems to be SF here.
First vid is clearly Juri (yay), Dan and Viper, second I made out DeeJay and Mecha-Gief (not sure about the other one) and I'm currently thinking for the 3rd it's Paul, Balrog and maybe Dudley.
However, my current theory is that only one character from each is real, since there's only 6 slots left on the official site (3 SF 3 Tekken), these are supposed to be filling those in.
Dan is deconfirmed, so can count him out.Viper's already been in MvC3 so she's unlikely, and Juri's hand clearly has the Kabuki stage featuring the Mad Gear Gang behind it, so if anyone's confirmed it's Juri.
Mecha-Gief in the second one could be hinting that the character being teased is Zangief's partner, which leads me to believe that up top is Rufus, since it does kinda look like a bulging stomach. If I'm correct then it's tough luck for DeeJay fans.
Finally, if this is for all the SF characters like some have said, then Paul (I'm assuming that's who's in red since Ken's already in the game and I can't think who else wears a red gi in the SF universe) is out, or at least not confirmed yet. The pattern seems to suggest that it's the top character being teased here, so looks like Balrog takes up the final slot, which makes sense since both him and Juri are associated with Shadaloo. So we may well have our last batch of SF fighters for now, as disappointing at that is. Of course I still don't get the logic behind showing off 3 characters, specially an alt costume for one who's in already (and seen in the background of a stage no less), but that's Ono for you.
I'm hoping I'm wrong about this since I want there to be a huge roster with as many characters in as possible, celebrating both series. But I just don't know at the moment. My theory seems sound, but there'll probably be something in the near future that blows it up.

There was rumor that SFxT will have more characters than UMVC 3 from lupinko. So showing off a lot of characters makes a lot of since, seeing that the game is released in March 2012.At the moment we only have 26 and 3 guest characters=29. So if they did 4 per month like it's been going it would be 24 but 4 more would have to be revealed in March. There would 50 original characters and 3 guest characters, but so far the Xbox would ONLY have 50. So that has to be wrong it has to be few more to show than that. If they'd showed lets say 6 or 8 this month it would make sense. I'd say the trailers have more than just 1 real character.

#88 Actually, looking closer and comparing, looks like R.Mika could be in after all, that sleeve I thought was Dudley matches hers, and the stage in the background is the one with the Servbot head and the rubble. Balrog's boot has the shininess of the SFxT graphics so looks like he's in (although it could well be someone else, just thinking Balrog for now). Others are seeing Bryan Fury in the 2nd vid. Seeing as I know nothing about any Tekken after 2, I just thought Rufus because of Mecha-Gief, so the whole "this is the last 3 SF characters" looks less likely. But I was right about Juri at least, I'd recognise that hand anywhere. In fact as soon as I saw the article I knew she was in since that was the icon for the first video. Least I got one right :D
First video: shows Juri's hands, where the background stage is one of the newly revealed stage from TGS with Heihachi and Rolento. Dan shows but this stage is from SF4, could be the jungle stage of the brazil stage at night. The third image shows C.Viper's gloves but look at the stage in which this image is. That stage is the boat stage from SF4.
Second video: I rather not try to decipher this one. So clueless.

Naw dude, you're wrong, unless Paul Phoenix is standing in the trainyard stage from SF4. Also you're wrong about Deejay, because that's Deejay. Also nothing about that "Bryan Fury" except the scars indicates that it's Bryan Fury, because it isn't. There are no Tekken characters here, which is why some of the fake out pics are taken directly from SSF4.
I get the feeling the pattern for these trailers is 1 SF, 1 Tekken and 1 scapegoat to put people off. Dan and Mechagief are obvious, the other 1 not so much.
So we have Bruce and Brian Fury on the same team??
On the third video stop it at 16, Bruce wears shorts with a white band. This looks like they are doing boxers vs boxers, the other ones are hard to figure out. Although that IS Dan in the first one and C. Viper's glove, but they could be saved for later. There's a character what wears a black elbow band that one is hard to find.

Well, Capcom add lots of misleading hints in those, you have to watch the background.
1st.- is def Juri, Dan and Viper shots are from SFIV.
2nd.- I have no idea, could be Brian Fury, Dee jay and MechaGief are obviously misleading hints, someone have to figure out what that purple thing is.
3rd.- At first it looks like Bruce Irving (elbow pad, shorts)but that blue thing is definitely R.Mika's arm

Going under the assumption that they will put characters in pairs ill predict this.

But yeah, I'm with you on Juri and R. Mika. My guess is that the last one is Vega, because it could be Vega's purple pants we see, and we also see a leg with what appears to be Vega's loafers and high socks at 16 seconds in in that video as well.

This isn't really trolling though, it's just their way of keeping us guessing until the full blown reveal. Trolling would be if all of these videos ONLY showed characters that were NOT in the game in order to give us false hope and piss us off.
As it is now, the 2 of the 3 characters in each vid are just red herrings put there so they can see who is paying attention and who isn't.
wow i completely forgot about the gem system until 207 pointed it out, ono did say they would reveal more perks to the gem system, mabe mecha gief is one of them
mabe not just gief, but other characters are getting something similar such as evil ryu/shin +oni akkuma or devil jin/kazuya, alternate versions of the character. that way character slots arent taken for other characters.
i feel like im controdicting myself by saying i like the idea of evil ryu in the game when he plays the same as ryu with i few differences and i dispise the idea of m.gief although its basicly the same concept but thats the way i feel for some reason :/

Third Video: Dudley (or at least that looks like his arm and shirt), Balrog (seen his lips and shoes from a mile away), and the last one looks like....Hmm..only person that comes to mind with those colors is Makoto...white-ish outfit with a yellow bandana? I could be wrong :P

well, if you look closely on the second video you can see the cage stage of vega, and on the third one i can see the golden nugget balrog stage, obviously i can be wrong but my guess is: juri,vega,balrog but i honestly want juri,anyone except vega, and R.mika.. btw didn't many people complained about these trailer because they were too easy?

MechaGief's design seems to be inspired by Mazinger Z and the other Chogokin robots. His chest hair looks just like the chest boomerang on Great Mazinger. Mazinger Z = MechaGief Z.
That's probably why he has the Z on his belt.
Also, to back up my statement.
SFA strategy guide had a picture of Akuma's head turned into Mazinger Z.
SF vs X-Men Cyber Akuma had Mazinger Z's wings. (Jet Scrander)
TechRomancer's Main robot G-Kaiser was based on Mazinger Z.
So, IMO, someone at Capcom loves Mazinger Z, and based MechaGief Z after him.

It appears to be a mixture of Tekken and SF characters.
First one has to be Juri and C Viper on the Capcom side, Lei Wu Long on the Tekken.
For the second one, the Mecha Zangief only equates to one thing in my mind :Jack the Robot from Tekken. The others are just too non-descript to decipher.
The third one reeks of Balrog and some of those pics were Dudley costume, maybe a DLC for Rog which would explain the Mecha Gief costume.

The first trailer shows Dan, Juri, and C. Viper. But if you look Dan is in the Amaazon stage from SSFIV and C. Viper has like the SSFIV graphics and style. Juri's arm is seen in the beginning as well the action is when she does i think L. Punch or M. Punch both standing. And in the screenshot it shows Juri's nails and gloves. BUT that shot is in SFXT art style.
The second trailer shows Mecha Zangief, and two people I have not figured out yet. Mecha Zangies is in Seth's layer from SSIV. The screenshot on the left seems like an old screen shot too from another game and the top screen shot is SFXT art.
The third trailer shows Vega's foot in the begining in SFXT art and Balrog's lips and trunks in SFXT art as well. In the three screenshots in the end it shows Yang in the Russian Rail Yard in SSIV. The other two screenshots are from SFXT and shows bright blue pants which seem to be Vega's and the boots of Balrog in SFXT art as well.

First of all, can everyone stop saying Mecha Zangief as one of the revealed characters? Capcom is tricking you by putting SSF4 screenshots in there.
I think these vids R a mix up of confusion, char reveals, and costume reveal.
1st vid: Definately Juri. C.Viper's hand so possible reveal as her tag partner and a fake pic of Dan, but the hair seems longer and there's writing on the back of it.
2nd vid: Possibly Vega & Adon(I C a red bandana where most C 2 braids, plus skin tone is far 2 light). And alternate costume for Gief.
3rd vid: Definately Balrog and possible Yang & R.Mika reveals.

If you are not sure what you are talking about, common sense helps.
Common sense#1: Only 1 character reveal per trailer
Common sense#2: Only the first few pictures are actually from the revealed characters, the rest are just trolls or hints.
Common sense#3: It is not R. Mika in the 3rd trailer, it's rog's trouser.
It's Juri, Vega, and Rog, no one else so move on guys.
Guys you do realize that there is other images to trick you right? Remember they are trying to make this harder.
Obviously the first Video shows that Juri is confirmed. If you think about it, Dan and the other image are in the same type of graphic detail of SSF4. (of course) While the middle one is the only one with the Shinyness of Street Fighter x TEKKEN.
I don't know who the others are, but that Mecha-Zangief is to throw you off. Remember Zangief has that as an alternate costume for SSF4.

Are you kidding me? What about that at all indicates anything about Brian Fury? The only thing that could indicate him at all is the scarred arm, which also fits Vega (who the trailer is actually for). And Bruce is just Rog, sorry. See the shirt? And "they always have" obviously doesn't cut it any more, because in case you didn't notice, they haven't always had multiple characters in one trailer either.
Tekken trailers will come later this week, and they'll probably be thrree of them like this too.

He sure as hell is, this is based on SF4 stylings. Everyone is that buff. And he only has a band on one arm lol. And I suppose you're just going to ignore the fact that everything else there points to Vega (including his stage for crying out loud). Additionally, none of those other things point to Fury (gloveless hands, purple pants, knee high white socks). The same goes for Balrog, along with the fact that Bruce doesn't even wear a shirt. You do know that Rog has a white stripe on his shorts (just like in the trailer) right?

Yeah I believe it's the foreground rough texture that's giving off the look of scars but when you remove it, the Shoe with the socks or whatever it is is showing.
Then the Purple makes it more obvious it's Vega.
The giveaway would be his claw or a piece of his mask.

No, it's a STREET FIGHTER 2 STAGE. You can see the cage in Vega's video and the neon signs in Rog's. Idiot. Also, the stage that you're referring to is a SFxT stage, so it doesn't even have anything to do with anything considering there are SF and T characters in SFxT. And if you can't see Rog than that's just sad. And notice how they're showing Vega's foot at 0:15? I mean you do realize that none of those pictures look anything like Bryan Fury right? Eddy's dreads aren't that long either. the only person with dark skin and hair that long is DeeJay.
You're right, those aren't scars. They're the cracks on the stone in the background.
The characters are Juri, Vega, and Balrog! The first two trailers have one screenshot from SFXT (the top one) the other two on the left and right are troll screenshots from SFXT.
The third trailer shows Balrog for sure but the right screenshot also shows a SFXT shot and it seems like R. Mika's outfit. So she maybe a later reveal than the three mentioned above.

Didn't see my 307 comment? I left out the time to identify the Tekken stage. At 0:15 is the Tekken stage which means it is not Vega's foot and when paused perfectly at 0:19 before it switches, there is clearly a scar on the top right of the arm.
After reading through a few comments and rewatching them, I'm thinking...
Each video contains 1 real character and 2 false characters. You can tell based on the backgrounds. The false characters are in SF4 stages while the true characters are in SFxT stages.
1st video - Juri - purple glove and fingernail polish
2nd video - Alex - scars, bare chest, army boots
3rd video - R. Mika - blue sleeve, white frills, and what appears to be yellow hair.

2nd video - Vega(Claw) - White socks and boot (didn't notice the sock before), arms stretched out straight like in Vega's light punch, and images of his SF2 stage scattered throughout.

@ 52 Elena should be Angolan or Caribbean, if capcom wanted to connect Elena to African dance fight martial practices. Too many Brazlians think that the dance fight game is something purely Brazilian. If Elena was of Kenyan descent she should have practiced some type of stick fighting variant.
Juri is a dead give away...I'm still hoping for Sakura Karin & xiaoyu but I'm getting worried I'm not sure yang would be in he's in a background of a stage that kinda seals ur fate

My point was a response @52 who claimed she should have been brazilian. You're right the origins of the art is African but so many claim otherewise despite overwhelming evidence.

Juri/Hwoarang the ultimate TKD tag team. My main(s) for this game is Juri, Chun Li, Cammy, Ibuki, Poison, Hwoarang, Lili, and Raven so far.....:)
This is my personal opinion so here me out:
Teaser 1 shows
Juri's purple gloves and nails
Dan's pink gi (karate uniform) and his long ponytail
and C. Vipers Advanced tech gloves, pretty straight forward
Teaser 2 gets a little tricky with its puzzle
Mecha Zangief's "Z" belt (probably Capacom messing with us)
Dee Jay's Signature double dreads
and believe it or not VEGA (claw) is confirmed for SFxT:
u can see Vega's signature sliding hard kick at 0:14 along with his SF II Spain "cage stage just in the background of 0:25.
Teaser 3 is easy to spot 2 but the last throws you off
Balrog's (Boxer) Boxing shoes, blue attire and nose/lips (0:18) and the Golden Nugget SF II stage in the background of (0:28).
Surprisingly R. Mika is confirmed from the looks of the blue attire and the white swirling collars on the wrist (cmon who else is Street fighter has tht other than her).
The Last character is hard to tell because it is neither Guy or M. Bison (Dictator), Guy has a white outline gi under his red one that shows plus its a little baggy (this teaser shows the clothing to be tight) and Bison doesn't wearing any sleeveless shirts unless you count his SSFIV alt Hybrid machine suit. Maybe I'm wrong, who knows.
Basically these teaser are so far only Street Fighter/Capcom characters, hopefully tekken teaser will be released, and do not trust leaked SFxT rosters, expect the unexpected
I think it's safe to say most ppl are bored of all this Street Fighter x Tekken hype... It's been going on for months and months... Either release the game or don't. We don't need to hear about every little update and thing you're adding to it to make it a complete game. Just leave us alone and release it when it's done. UGHHHHHH
