The last video tests out the ability to mash the buttons on certain Hyper Combos for more hits.
Tip from BurnoutFighter, Baraa_Rulz, Brazilanubis3 and AsterRhodesxxh.
I am very pleased to see an easier combo made for Akuma since his Demon flip Kick OTG was made tighter. The demon palm made up for it in a huge way.
Ugh. Anyone else not excited for mashable supers? I mean, I don't hate the idea but the thing is that a lot of people will end up mashing out x-factor instead and that can't be good.
GomuJohnny, Spider-Man's mashable hyper is his Crawler Assault. And no, he might not have a new move, but his Web Zip hits OTG which means you can use it for a OTG setup into Maximum Spider.

For the pad players, it'll be a bit easier to mash hypers because players can quickly take both thumbs to quickly mash the buttons attack buttons without hitting the Special Button, but for stick users (if it's by default settings) they'll have to arch their fingers to only hit the top row of buttons instead of laying them down flat like in MvC2.
I'll disagree with you ChunLi. I want you to go to training mode right now and mash out Haggar's 100 Cracked Fists of the North Star on a pad and then on a stick. Tell me how it works out.
Dante gets a mashable and Deadpool doesn't?
I CALL SHENANIGANS!!!
#10 im not excited for it. Any game/system where mashing is a good thing & required thing to kill your opponent off is ehhh to me lol.
Although I know mvc2 had it so they have experience with this. I just dont wanna go berserk on my controller whenever I do a super else it does puny dmg lol ;(
Was wondering, are the hits by mashing based on how many times you pressed the buttons while a hyper is active or there are actual physical framehits going on?
FCUK MASHING!, CApcom should take that sH;t out. Do they know how annoying it is to mash with a controller?
Mashing is such a gimmick, and it needs no place in modern fighting games.
should we see Fanatiq tucking his pad under his shirt when mashing? lol
hmmm the amount of hits is practically doubled for every hyper when you mash.... hopefully theres some high scaling in longer combos. I cant really say I'm excited about mashing combos for more damage because I always do it lol. even in regular street fighter games.
@14 no its not their still the same. Its the way the health bars look that makes it look different.
BTW on the vergil vid they missed how you can put the swords over someones head or point them and fire off
@17
I think everyone gets a mashable move, just not all were shown here. Spidey's Crawler Assault is said to be mashable as well as Doom's Finger Lazers.
@27: That is BS, the fact that the health bars are shorter, should make it look like less damage is done. The damage is too high in this game. Period. And a fatter health bar would not create this illusion that more damage is being done, because the fact is, watching any matches of this game, characters die much much faster than before.
Here's a reason why so many people are convinced the damage is higher. We have all been playing the game since February, when we see someone playing our character in Umvc3, we have an idea of how much damage they can take before you gotta start thinking about getting them out, or they'll die (without looking at the health bars), but in this game, people watch these matches, and see the damage our chars take, and think it's perfectly fine, nothing to be worried about, till you see the health bar around 5-10%. There is an alarming amount of damage being done in this game (or everyones health was decreased 300K), but maybe it's just because these are demo builds, maybe Capcom has the damage higher because they want the matches to be shorter, so more people get to play at events? Who knows, but something has definately changed, and Capcom isn't saying what.
Aww yea virgil all day baby!!! :D
