GameSpot has uploaded the character color previews for Doctor Doom and Zero today. GameSpot has writeups detailing each color for those interested in the background behind each one. You can also catch a sample of the colors below.

@5 yeah considering that they did the same thing with wesker concerning his "vergil" alt colors. the only thing i am kinda pissed about is them relegating MMZ zeroto an alt color instead of a full fledged alternate costume but hey i guess there saving EXE or Command Mission zero for that for that. but in the end if i use Zero Vile alt until we get the real deal.

First they add insult to injury with Zero's X color scheme, now they throw salt into the wounds of those Megaman fans by doing X armor colors, LOL!. What really bugs me is that they made an effort to make an extra color why not make a way to incorporate it in the game as an extra instead of taking one of the color schemes already on the game, thats stupid.

Damn, there's like 4x the amount of Mega Man fan hate than there are Mega Man fans complaining. It saddens me to see all these trolls everytime Mega Man is brought up.

Anyways, glad to finally see these colors, Doom and Zero are my mains. Taking out the blue alt actually gives us slight DLC hope for X, but knowing Nitsuuma, I'm not gonna wish too hard. Vile was a good choice, but the MMZ color? That probably means that if Zero ever gets a costume, it's his MMX1 design. Laaame.

But dang, still mad that he doesn't have Black OR Nightmare Zero. Capcom is bent on doing all these troll-character references when they should actually give pre-existing color schemes.

@#12 They could do a Zero EXE alternate costume. Zero EXE is a bit taller though so that may be far fetched, but who knows he could get one of his upgrades as a full Alternate costume.

@#15 I was thinking the same thing, but they may use the Command Mission version of X instead. That one would be better any ways.

Well Nightmare Zero might be Zero full Alternate costume. We can't really assume that MMX is going to be his alt.

God damn it! Where's the Black Armor Zero color with the purple Z-Saber (like Tenkuuha from X4, or the Shot Eraser part from X5 and X6)? Or the Nightmare Zero color from X6 (purple parts, red hair, and a black Z-Saber)? The altered Z-Saber colors would've given more variety to Zero's colors.

Also, now that they put in the MMZ look as a color, it's pretty much confirmed that we won't get it as an alternate costume. They'll probably just cheap out and give us the X1 look (same as default, but no reinforced shoulder pads and less details on the arms and legs.)

But the Mega Man X1 armor color, even though it looks pretty funky and cool, is a bit too much on the trolling side.

On another note, I do like that they went back to Doctor Doom's black color and gave his cape a nice wrinkly effect.

Ah well, suppose I'll have to cope with using the colour...Glad they used X ultimate armour as a colour instead of normal x, it just didn't suit Zero at all in my opinion.

MMZ Color? I thought that will be his Alt Costume. I mean there's no other choice to be as perfect. Anyway I'm really happy abour Zero's colors.

Really loving the alt colors for both characters! since i use both of them. probably gonna use that dark brownish alt for doom. and capcom did a good job with the zero colors, and like one person mentioned earlier though the X Armor alt color should have yellow hair instead of blue. sucks that we wont get an MMZ alt costume buut because of that i hope we can get this look as an alt

(That could be alright, but how would a Z-Buster Shot work due to them both not having a Buster Arm? Also, Vent's voice wasn't deep at all (Even in ZX Advent) but, even so, just throwing it out there.)

Maybe a Helmet-less Zero?

Omega Zero from MMZ3? (He has a more slender body, but they can work with it to make it the same hitboz size as X Zero)

They have choices, it's just hard to think what they might actually go for.

If they're able to freely change things to the models themselves (Doom's textured cloak, Deadpool getting that jacket outfit, Regular Captain America getting his old Shield etc.) WHY are Zero's shoulder plates still on?

They could've taken them off to have a more complete look of MMZ Zero without changing his hitbox or anything, it's just awkward to have them on and painted black to "blend in".
