Daigo vs. Hsien Chang Super Street Fighter 4 AE match from Taito kumite

Rounding out the MCZ|Daigo Umehara Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition kumite that was held a little ways back, Taito also posted his set against Hsien Chang, another player from the United States who also plays a mean Yun.

Hsien is on the 2nd player side in the video below.

The TFA|Banana Ken and iPeru matches which were posted previously, can be found after the jump, but this time around they're YouTube versions.

@3 he used his last name. i cant speak for the rest of the world, but in NA, we mostly know him by 'daigo', as most western cultures place first names before surnames. family name is placed before personal names in the japanese culture, as well as some others i care not to delve into. merely observing a cultural difference.

Man, feels like Yun would be perfectly balanced if they simply removed ONE of his tools. Remove upkicks or palm or command throw, just ONE suddenly he is a balanced character who doesn't have a tool for every situation.

How did iPeru armor cancel into Ultra 2? I thought you burned the meter when you armor canceled from an ex move.

Daigo still proving he has some of the best reactions and best reads in the business... I just feel like Bananaken and Hsien definitely had the potential to beat them, but they're too used to playing in America where they get away with mistakes too much. You get away with nothing in Japan, especially not against Umehara.

Random wakeup ULTRA does work against high level player (mainly because they usually don't expect such low level tactic, thus it being effective), but it would probably not work a second time.
